金、水多(应是为喜)主美貌,过多则反。

Literal Translation & Interpretation :-

I have mentioned it twice that we can associate beauty with the presence of favorable Metal & Water in the natal chart.

Today, the last day of the year 2009, I would like to add in one more condition for your consideration, ie :-

When the energy of the metal & water is overly strong, the other extreme (ugliness) is also true.

Important lesson learned from the above is that 'to identify any form of extremities', simply reverses the theory for one end & applies to the other end, the answer would be correct as well :)

七杀是非传统。所以八字内七杀很多的人,不会做传统的事,而会从事潮流的事。

Literal Translation & Interpretation :

Proper Authority Deity are more rational & more conservative. They also able to exercise self-disciplined.

Imposing Authority Deity, on the other hand, are more decisive & more adventurous. They dare & prefer to do things against the social norm.

Hence, should there be abundance of Imposing Authority Deity in a natal chart, he/she dares to think out of the box & do things differently.

女命八字内官杀争强,表示婚姻不顺、给男友欺负或欺骗感情。

Literal Translation & Interpretation:

I have mentioned in the previous posting that both the Proper & Imposing Authority Deities are controlling the DM. We have also learned that abundance of Proper & Imposing Authority Deities is detrimental to the weak DM.

As we know, Authority Deities represents spouse or boy friends to a lady. Hence, a weak lady chart with strong Authority Deities denotes unblissful marriages, bullied by the husband or boy friends. A potential candidate for family violence.

Literal Translation & Interpretation:

As we know, both the Proper & Imposing Authority Deities are controlling the DM. We can associate it with the pressure give to the DM.

When the DM is strong, appropriate amount of Authority Deities can be viewed as a motivational factor to the DM.

However, when the DM is weak, the controlling effect of strong Authority Deities becomes detrimental. This represents that the DM is surrounded by scheming individuals, facing great pressure. Hence, the career advancement is being obstructed.

子午卯酉多者主貌美;子午卯酉齐则反。

The Earthly Branches Zi, Wu, Mao & You are also known as Flower of Romance (桃花).

Traditionally, we used to associate Flower of Romance with attractiveness and, hence, good human relationship. We could also associate Flower of Romance to the ‘look’ (i.e. the outer appearance) of an individual.

As a guide, the more the number of Zi, Wu, Mao & You appears in a natal chart, the prettier would be the individual.

The above-mentioned principle, however, does not apply to the situation whereby all the Zi, Wu, Mao & You appear simultaneously in a chart.

Personally, I had made a mistake by concluded that a lady is pretty & attractive. The reason, as you can expect, is simply that all the Zi, Wu, Mao & You are in her natal chart.

But the answer (given by my friend) really shocked me. She said that the subject looks ‘normal’.

I have seen her, in person, at one of the gatherings. I affirmed the judgment made by me friend.

五行中少者必贪,多者必厌。

Literal translation & interpretation :

We are attracted to what we are lacking in our natal chart. On the same note, we dislike things or matters that are plentiful on our natal chart.

As mentioned in one of my postings, I am a hot chart person and needs water. I am, therefore, attracted to water. I consume plenty of water (such as plain water, soft drinks & a bit of beer) & feel better (emotionally) in the cold weather (such as rainy day & winter).

My wife, on the other hand, dislikes rainy day and cold weather. Guess what? She is a cold chart person with plenty of water.

用神在月柱,表示兄弟有情义。若遇冲克,反目成仇。

Literal Translation & Interpretation:-

Month Pillar represents Sibling Palace. Hence, if the element is favorable to DM, we can conclude that the bonding between the sibling & the DM is strong.

However, if there is a clash to such favorable element in the month pillar, they may become enemies.

Personally, I don't think such a clash would lead to such a stage - becoming enemies :) It would, however, only affect their bonding unfavorably. Afterall, the faovrable element is residing within the Sibling Palace (i.e. Month Pillar).

Food for Thought :

Besides representing Sibling Palace, Month Pillar also represents Parent Palace. Does the same principle and concept still hold ?

Literal Translation & Interpretation :

In the study of career, we associate Resource Deities & Authority Deities with the career. Hence, should there be any clashes with the Resource Deities &/or Authority Deities, it symbolises changes to the career.

In the event the above-mentioned deities is/are being 'seriously clashed away', it implies the possibility of leaving the company.

My dear friends, how was your weekend?

Just spent my weekend with a group of good friends at Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia. It was really fun & enjoyable. Really looking forward for the next trip :)

We have visited one of the famous resorts at Malaysia ~ Bukit Tinggi (with the height of 1000 meters above the sea-level). It is the latest highland escape in Pahang.

Together with the kids, we also visited the Rabbit Park (at Bukit Tinggi) where there are approximately 30 ~ 40 rabbits roaming in the park along with donkeys.

One of us got excited and alerted us that today (Sat, 19/12/2009) is the day of 戊戌 . That struck my mind to erect the bazi chart (below) :-

X 丙 己
X 戌 丑

The purpose (in this instance) is to explore the possibilities of the bazi in describing or matching the place(s) that we have visited.

The Visit To Rabbits Farm
(9 am, 19/12/2009)

丁 丙 己
巳 戌 丑

The combination of 卯戌 as Rabbits Farm

How can we associate (the visit to) the Rabbits Farm to the above bazi chart?

卯 (yin wood) represents the rabbit and it was amazing to observe that 戌 earth in the Day Branch (one of the most important considerations in foretelling daily activities) combines with the 卯 (i.e. the rabbits).

戌 as the physical environment whereby the rabbits lives.

To facilitate the explanation, we have to make use of the hidden heavenly stems within the 戌 earth.

HHS
戊 = it is an earth, it is an open space.
辛 = the fencelike barrier protecting the rabbits

丁 = If we were to fix卯as the focal point to represent the rabbits, fire would be the output deities to the 卯 rabbits, representing movement &, hence, freedom.

To sum up, 戌 earth is an open space for rabbit to move around freely & is protected by the fencelike barrier.

戊戌 as the mountain

As mentioned, Bukit Tinggi is the mountain that is 1000 meters above the sea-level. Being one of the important considerations in forecasting daily activities, we have to scrutinize the Day Pillar (戊戌) carefully. Both the Yang Earth sitting on each other resembles the image of mountain.

Since 戌 is the rabbit farm and is the day branch sitting below the 戊, it is obvious that the Rabbits Farm is situated in the halfway of the mountain.

男命伤官须损儿;女犯伤官须再嫁。

Literal Translation & Interpretation:-

Typically & traditionally, ancient bazi scholars, practitioners & teachings had the tendency to associate Explicit Talent with all the mishaps & misfortune.

According to the above listed terminology, the Explicit Talent in the male chart implies that the DM may bring ill luck to the children. If the Explicit Talent appears in the female chart, it symbolizes the marriage is unstable & would lead to separation or divorce.

When decoding & interpreting classics, extra care and caution is needed. It was believed that the creator/writer of the classics, intentionally or unintentionally, withholding certain part of crucial information. Hence, at times, we found it extremely difficult to comprehend certain portion of the text. It was either purposely providing the wrong information or the important link is intentionally amiss.

This is evident from the above listed statement.

Both statements is valid on the condition that below crucial factors exist:-

- the Explicit Talent is overly strong & is unfavorable to the DM ;
- the DM is weak
- the star residing in the respective palace is unfavorable as well.

Bazi Daily - 17/12/2009 - Tiger's Signature reveals his character

Note : As I will not be available tonight, I hereby publish this Bazi Daily in advance. Enjoy Reading!

Below is the signature of Tiger Woods:-

It is my attempt to examine his fuller character from different aspect of studies.

Graphology - is the study of handwriting for assessment of people.

A person's handwriting expresses the unique impulses of the individual: logically, the brain sends signals along the muscles to the writing implement they control. By examining a handwriting sample, we should be able to identify relevant features of the individual personality.

I would like to draw your attention on some of the interesting observations pertaining to his signature :)

It is interesting to notice that Tiger Woos places great emphasis on the initial of the letter T & W.

The term Capital Emphasis refers to the initial letter(s) that is/are overlarge embellished.

This elaborated capital letters carries following implications in term of an individual's personality :-

1. Love of limelight (in line with the characteristic of Explicit Talent) ;
2. Self dramatization (in line with the characteristic of Explicit Talent) ;
3. Over-compensation of inferiority feelings, by showing off

Point No 3 arouses my attention & curiosity. Despites the fact that Tiger Woods is very successful in his career as a pro golfer, but (from the analysis of his bazi) I do believe it is also true that he have certain degree of inferiority.

The reason is simple : He is a weak Geng metal person, signifying lack of confidence. Couple with the presence of strong earth (i.e. the input) that makes him a thinker. However, a person with abundance of resources deity are normally the person that tend to think too much of unnecessary stuff.

My deduction is further supported by his Narrow Writing Style :)

Narrow writing is nearly always a reflection of some form of inhibition, control, narrow mindedness & shyness. This is evident in his bazi as the DM are surrounded by both the Proper Authority & Indirect Resources Deity.

As a guide, the closer the deity to the DM, the greater impact it would have on the DM.

Bazi Daily - 16/12/2009 The Un-ending story of Tiger Woods

In view of the additional information (i.e. hour pillar) added to Tiger Woods’ bazi & more interesting points that had been brought up, I would like to continue with the discussion : )

Sanjay : Thanks for providing the hour pillar (丁亥) to Tiger Woods’ bazi.

丁 戊 乙
亥 戌 卯

29 (LP) AP
乙 己
酉 丑

Dana mentioned that the Wealth Deity (i.e. mao wood) in the Year Pillar is in the stage of Void (空亡), hence Tiger Woods could not retain his wealth (i.e. money & wife).

I am, however, holding different opinion & deem that he is capable of generating the monetary wealth for the following reasons :-

- Mao wood is being combined by Xu (day branch) & Hai (hour branch). According to classical theory, combination dissolves the Void. Hence, we cannot view the Mao (& the wealth) as being emptied or in the Void stage.

- Zi & Hai water in the month & hour branches nourishes wood (wealth), meaning he is still capable of generating the wealth.

Since the Mao (Wealth) is being combined by Xu in the Spouse Palace, i.e. the Xu is able to avoid the Mao (i.e. the wealth) from falling into the Void stage. We can deduce that his wife is holding the financial power for the income generated by Tiger Woods.

Perhaps, this is the primary reason why Tiger Woods is trying his very best to so-called ‘retain’ his relationship with his wife. If not, the money may gone with the wife.

Dana further mentioned that the current year of Ji Chou should be a good year for Tiger Woods as the Earth strengthens the Weak Geng Metal DM.

I would like to cautious those that hold the similar stance not to overlook the impact of the current Luck Pillar (i.e. yi you).

The You metal is the Yang Ren (羊刃) to DM. It is the strong supporting forces to DM. I would view it as strong metal during the current luck cycle. Since the DM is strong, the appearance of戊 & 戌 in the natal chart & the addition of Ji Chou made it an even overly strong DM.

Who would suffer as a result? Without doubt, the wood (i.e. wealth, wife & girlfriends…) would suffer.

Not forgetting that the You clashes with the Mao (the wealth). You metal also ‘break up’ the unity of Mao & Xu. Since both the Spouse star (i.e. the Wealth Deity) & Spouse Palace are being affected simultaneously, the relationship of course turns sour.

As for the doubt raised by Dana on how the bazi could explain the negative impact to his reputation, I think it is due to the presence of strong seasonal water (亥、子、丑) to harm the energy of Proper Authority (representing career as well as status, reputation).

One interesting observations, there are a lot of combinations taking place in the current Luck Cycle & Annual Luck Cycle :-

- 乙庚
- 亥子丑
- 酉丑

The above combinations resulted in extremely strong metal & water. FYI, a person with abundance of both the elements (metal & water) & plentiful of combinations, are normally the person with strong sexual desires.

Tiger Woods - his scandal & his bazi

Below is the statement extracted from Tiger Woods' official website.

Tiger Woods taking hiatus from golf

I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I've done, but I want to do my best to try.

I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding. What's most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing.

After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.

Again, I ask for privacy for my family and I am especially grateful for all those who have offered compassion and concern during this difficult period.

Below is a very famous terminology (in Chinese) that even a laymen without any form of bazi training or knowledge can comprehend :-

财多身弱,富屋贫人。
From the perspective of bazi analysis, one of the possible explanations to 'poverty' is where not only the DM is weak, there is also abundance of unhealthy (i.e. unfavorable) wealth deity exists in the natal chart.

Weak DM + Strong & Unhealthy Wealth = Poverty

The above terminology is merely a simple generalisation in associating the strength of DM with Wealth Deity. There are more conditions to consider before we can make the above deduction confidently.

财旺生官,自身显荣。

Literal Translations & Interpretation :

Can we deduce from a bazi chart that an individual is wealthy as well as reputable? The answer is, of course, affirmative !

To ascertain the fame & wealth of an individual, we need to focus the relationship between the Authority Deity, Wealth Deity as well as the strength of the DM.

As a quick guide, the DM needs to be strong in order to be able to control the Wealth & Authority Deity that both appear in the natal chart.

Literal Translation & Interpretation :-

One of the functions of Explicit Talent is to produce the WEALTH deity. Hence, if there is a presence of Explicit Talent & Wealth Deity simultaneously in the natal chart, the DM could be a wealthy individual.

By saying so, I have to cautious you that the DM have to be strong in order to be rich.

Bazi Daily - 10/12/2009

伤官旺的女命会看不起自己的丈夫,觉得他没有用。

Literal Translation & Interpretation :-

Continue with what we have discussed on the subject of Explicit Talent & Proper Authority.

If the Explicit Talent is strong, the person can be talented and, hence, having higher expectations towards peoples & things. This applies to both the male & female chart.

As one of the functions of Explicit Talent is to conquer Proper Authority (representing husband & boyfriend to a female). We can then associate this conflicting relationship to high expectation the girl had had to her boyfriend or husband.

In the event the Explicit Talent is strong & unfavorable, she can even look down upon her husband.

In the study of Bazi, there is are famous saying :

伤官若见官,为祸百端。

What it meant was that the war between the two opposing deities (i.e. the Explicit Talent & the Proper Authority) can give rise to calamities or unwanted results.

The effect is even more detrimental to DM if both the deities is locating side by side or within the same pillar, such as :-

X 甲 戊 whereby Jia is the Explicit Talent while Wu is the Proper Authority

or

X X 甲
X X X 戌 whereby Jia is the Explicit Talent while Xu is the Proper Authority

‘比劫成局,当为几度新郎’。这也既是我们大家所熟悉的‘比劫争财’。

Literal Translation & Interpretation:

Competitive Deity & Amiable Deity are the elements that is same as the DM. Like DM, both Competitive Deity & Amiable Deity conquer Wealth Deity.

Hence, when the DM is weak, the existence of Competitive Deity & Amiable Deity is of great help to DM in achieving his goals (such as wealth). But when the DM is strong, both the Competitive Deity & Amiable Deity can be harmful.

Since both can 'rob' & 'dilute' the wealth (which represents money as well as girl friend & wife), the presence of strong & unfavorable Competitivie & Amiable Deities might affect the marriages negatively.

From times to times, we do witness that there are individuals that seem to be so fortunate (or unfortunate) to have escaped from calamity.

If we were to explain it from the perspective of chinese metaphysics, we could attribute it to the existence of the following favorable Compound Stars (神杀) in the chart :-

= Star of Kindness (月德贵人)

In the event whereby both the Talent & Authority Deities co-exists in the female chart, one of the possible deductions is that the DM shows more love & concern to her children then to her husband.

Chen (辰), Xu (戌), Chou (丑) & Wei (未) earths are also known as Grave (墓) stage of 12 Nature Stages of Heavenly Stems.

Grave denotes stagnancy, no movement, static..... Hence, when the natal chart is filled with 'thick' earth (厚土), we can conclude that the DM is calm & steady.

BUT, when the earth becomes overly strong, he/she can be extremely passive.

Earth person may looks calm & steady, but when the fire is too strong (in addition to strong earth), the DM might still looks calm outwardly, but is impatient & impulsive internally.

Literal Translation & Elaboration:

Siblings can be represented by the Month Pillar. The destructive & controlling relationship between the month pillar & the other pillars (namely the Year &/or Day Pillar) connotes the relationship with the siblings.

Since the month pillar also represents the parents, the same principle can also be applied when ascertaining the relationship with parents.

Foretelling Daily Activity - Part 04

Foretelling Daily Activity – Part 04

辛 乙 己
未 戌 丑

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to those who involved in the search for the so-called 'correct' academic explanation.

I would like to share with you on my approach & analysis for your consideration.

First of all, I feel that it is important to fix a 'point of reference' to represent my mom. Automatically, my instinct told me to choose Day Stem Jia (of 25 Nov 2009) to represent my mom.

It was coincidentally that the Jia wood happened to be the Primary Resource of my DM - Ding. This raises my confident level greatly, but also causes me to have neglected some other even more important aspect (see below explanation).

After chosen the Day Stem (Jia) to represent my mom, I need to select another important variable to represent my mon's house. Naturally, the Resource Deity to Jia wood (i.e. Hai water) became my choice.

Besides being the Resource Deity, Hai water is also the Growth Stage (长生) to Jia wood. The growth stage represents original place of birth, hence I concluded that my mom was at the old home. But, it was WRONG! My mom was at the new home :-(

After some deep thoughts, I found that I have entirely overlooked the existence of Yi wood in the month stem.

It is without doubt that Hai is the Growth Stage to Jia (i.e. my mom), BUT it is also the Secondary Resource Deity to Jia wood, representing connection but not too close.

Hence, my (reversed engineering) interpretation revealed that the original place of living (Growth Stage) have now became not so close, so I shouldn't have concluded she was at old home.

Instead, the Yi wood (of month stem) is sitting directly above the Hai water (month branch) which is also the Growth Stage to wood, but the relationship is now closer as it is the Primary Resource Deity. Also, not forgetting the fact that Month Pillar represents Parents Palace.

Sanjay viewed it from the perspective of Xu - the fire pool (that represents my original place of birth). However, point have to be taken that the SUBJECT in question is my mom, NOT ME! So, should have used her original place of birth or stay as a reference.

Sanjay had made an interesting observation that the Resource Deity is sitting on the Traveling Horse, hence movement is inevitably. Well Done, Sanjay! My mom had to move quite a lot to shift some of her own stuff. For your information, she is going to Malaysia for an holiday on 28 Nov 2009.

I also tried to reason out, academically, what attributed to my wrong interpretation. I thought it could have due to the clash between Wei & Xu earth, whereby both the Ding fire (my DM) underneath the earth are being affected.

One last interesting observation that I have discovered is that both the Wood (Jia & Yi) is sitting on Hai & Xu. Accordingly, Hai & Xu represents Qian (乾) trigram and, hence, North West sector. My mon is shifting her home within the West to North-West sector of Singapore.

Fm : Sanjay …. Your DM is Ding Chou. Jia is your Primary (Direct) Resource, which also represents your mother.

Both Yolanda & you have approached it correctly, i.e. to link my DM with the Day Stem of 25 Nov 09.

Although it is not necessarily to make such a linkage, but doing so would facilitate our analysis.

Fm : Sanjay … Xu has Ding as a minor Qi -- this palace also represents your home. Therefore, on Nov. 25 your mom was in the home where you grew up -- i.e. your old home.

I like your imaginative mind by associating fire pool (i.e. the grave) to represent my home. However, I committed similar mistake when making such deduction to locate my mom.

...Jia direct resource sitting on Xu earth.... she has moved and settled in new home.

In term of the approach & methodology, you are getting closer by connecting the Day Stem (25 Nov) with my DM (i.e. Ding fire).

I like the concept of Jia wood sitting (i.e. settling) on Xu earth.

... Jia is next to Yi indirect resource ... was she in the company of a close friend or relative?

This is a very interesting observation & valid deduction. Theoretically, it is perfectly sound to make inference that she was being accompanied by a close friend or her siblings (i.e. about her age). My younger niece, however, was with her that day.

Yolanda, you have expanded my scope of view by considering the people that was with her. I thank you for that.

Reply to MB's Posting :-

Fm MB … highlighted in red Jia and Hai as a hint

You are playing cheat :-)

However, the highlighted one was not intended to be the hint in anyway.

Fm MB … Jia (Yin) – Hai combines to form wood, or ; Jia (Yin) – Hai forms destruction relation

I have not heard of the above theory. Hence, no comment!

Fm MB ... can the combination or destruction happen between Stem and Branch….
Normally, we do not consider the destruction relationship in that manner (i.e. between stem & branch). I would rather view it as the ‘impact’ they have on each other.

For instance,

寅 The strength of the Jia is being reinforced by the Yin.

庚 The strength of the Jia is being ‘diminished’ by the Shen metal.

As for the combination between stem & branch, it is the theory that has been tested as usable. However, would not like to introduce further for the fear of causing confusion.

Fm MB ... I read somewhere (too many where, I cant remember clearly now where!)…

That is the common problem faces by many bazi enthusiasts. Don’t just read, make a note & try to understand the concept. It would be more constructive.

FM MB ... earth clash can mean moving… already in her new home….

I would rather view the clash as the ‘changes’ that had taken place. But, I don’t really see the link between the clash and the shifting.

Note :

As I am having some personal commitment for the present moment, the reply (to various answers posted) shall be made as and when I am available.

I would like to invite more postings for this ‘guessing game’ that I, myself, interpreted incorrectly.

Bazi Daily - 27/11/2009

Just received a SMS from Fengshui 316 (as below) :-

命局内有寅、戌组合的人,容易被狗咬。

(That is : The existence of Xu & Yin combination in the natal chart carries the implication that the DM has higher chances of being bitten by dog [as Xu represents Dog])

He asked me on my opinion on the above.

Practically & realistically, we have to ask ourselves where the person is living. If he/she lives in the urban area, the chances of being bitten is much more lower then those stay in the 'kampong'.

Then, we may argue that how about being bitten by the pet dog. If that is the case, theoretically, I would deem that the chances is higher as the combination (between Xu & Yin) implies intimacy.

If the resultant element (of such combination) is favorable to the DM, the bite implies intimacy between the pet and the owner. If it is unfavorable, the bite would be severe & harmful.

Cat & tiger (Yin) refers to same grouping in term of animal classifications. We can further expand the possibility from the above deduction to include being bitten by Cat and, perhaps, tiger :-)

If you wish, we may even further include those indivduals that are born in the years of dog & tiger...

The deductions mentioned above add more fun to our study, though it is not the main dish.

Foretelling Daily Activity

Foretelling Daily Activity

I did mentioned in one of my postings (please refer to Bazi Daily - 13/11/2009) that my mother is going to shift her house.

Below is the bazi chart that I have erected for the day of 25 Nov 2009 (Wednesday) whereby I visited her.

辛 乙 己
未 戌 丑

Though, like all of you, I am a true lover of Chinese Metaphysics, I don't normally erect bazi chart for my daily activities as it would be very troublesome and 'restrictive'.

The reason for me to erect the chart was that I couldn't get in touch with my mother where she is (old house or new house) as the home phone has already been cancelled.

The purpose of erecting the above chart is to try to 'predict' where my mother was. Can you tell where she was - at the old house or new house - from the chart?

Freedom Fighter vs Restlessness vs Movements

I have touched on the subject of restlessness that is due to the strong presence of Implicit & Explicit Talents (please refer to the Bazi Daily – 25/11/2009).

Today, I shall continue the subject by introducing some other factors that associate with movement & restlessness.

1. The presence of Traveling Horse (驿马)

The term itself is already self explanatory – it denotes ‘movement’, search for freedom & seldom stay at home.

According to my practical experiences, movement can refer to either :-

- physical movement (i.e. move from place to place, company to company, etc) ; &/or
- psychological movement (unsettled mind, i.e. the mind can wander around without noticing)

2. Clashes between pillars, stems &/or branches

Clashes will change the property of the involved elements (stems & branches).

For instance, if the wood is being clashed / conquered by the metal, the energy of the wood will be weakened. That is to say, there is a CHANGE due to such a clash.

Hence, too much of clashes denotes instability and, therefore, contributes to restlessness.

Bazi Daily - 25/11/2009

凡是八字食伤旺盛的人,容易忙忙碌碌。

Literal translation:-

According to TH Teo, strong presence of Implicit & Explicit Talent denotes movement & restlessness.

Have you ever wonder why?

Individuals with strong Implicit & Explicit Talent are normally a person that is full of curiosity. They get excited easily with new things, matters, objects and, even, people.

They are very keen & enjoy exploring new experiences. Once the current one is satisfied, they will look for some other ‘newer, exciter, fresher...’ activities.

It is no wonder they are always seem to be so busy.

Alcoholic…. Are you the potential one?

Are you the potential candidate that can be addicted to alcohol?

My apology if the term used sounds too strong to you. However, from the perspective of bazi chart analysis, there are some obvious telltale signs that indicate the DM could be the ones that ‘enjoy’ alcoholic drink.

Below are the some for your information :-

1. The chart is too hot & water (i.e. liquor or wine) is needed to cool the chart (i.e. body) down ;
2. Strong presence of Earth (especially DRY earth) and water (i.e. alcohol) is needed.
3. Strong presence of Wood to ‘suck’ the water (alcohol)

Bazi & Diet

Bazi is an effective tool not only in deciphering a person's behaviour &, hence, destiny. It can also be used in knowing an individual physical surrounding, health...... & even the eating habit.

Spoken to a lady recently after the seminar & she mentioned that she can't take 'pork' (FYI, she is a Chinese, not Muslim). She will either vomit or experiencing indigestion after taking the pork.

This excite me & arouse my interest in scrutinizing her bazi :-)

She is a Yin Earth person, born in the month of Wei (earth) & the hour of Mao (yin wood). To me, the answer is very clear......

I would like to invite you to furnish & share your view point & answer to the above question :-)

要是财被印合去,可以代表花钱去买资料、学习的用品。

Literal Translation:-

Like all of you, I am a true lover & serious enthusiast to the science & art of Chinese Metaphysics.

Also, like you, I have spent substantial amount of my 'hard earned' money in purchasing books & attending courses.

After reading the abovementioned tip contributed by Feng Shui 316, I, then, being enlightened that it is already reflected in my natal chart :-)

According to Feng shui 316, whenever the Resource Deity is being combined 'away' (合去) by the Wealth Deity, money will be spent on courses or course materials / books for learning purposes.

If we were to further expand our understanding, it could also apply to our luck cycle (大运) or our annual luck cycle (流年).

For instance, if the Resource Deity (印星 - representing learning) appears in your natal chart and is being combined by, say, your annual luck cycle (流年), we can conclude & deduce that a portion of your will money will be allotted for the purpose of learning (such as attending courses, buying books) on that particular year.

Thank you, my dear friend, Feng Shui 316. I have learnt one more new idea from you :-)

Yin & Yang vs Health

Yin denotes the energy that is flowing downward and is, normally, represented by Metal & Water. Hence, when there is abundance of unfavorable yin energy in the chart, the possible ailment that DM may suffer is normally related to the lower part of the body.

Yang, on the other hand, denotes the energy that is flowing upward and is, normally, represented by Wood & Fire. Hence, when there is abundance of unfavorable yang energy in the chart, the possible ailment that DM may suffer is normally related to the upper part of the body.

Decoding the relationship between the DM and the Parents

Generally speaking, the relationship between the kids & the parents can be described as good, poor or neutral.

Today, I am going to share with you on how to decode this different layer of relationships.

Since the main concern now is on decoding the relationship with the parents, we have to FOCUS our analysis on the favorability of the Resources Deity (representing mother) or Wealth Deity (representing father).

Below serve as a quick guide for your analysis:-

If the deity concerned is favorable = the relationship is good

If the deity concerned is unfavorable = the relationship is poor

If the deity concerned is neutral = the relationship is neutral

For instance, the Resources Deity is most needed when the DM is weak. Hence, we can conclude that the relationship with the mother is close & good.

X 甲 X

Food for thoughts:-

Below is also an instance whereby the Resource Deity is favorable to DM. However, the position of Yin Water (i.e. the Resources Deity) is located elsewhere:-

Can you detect any differences in term of the relationship?

Foretelling Daily Activity (流日论断) - Part 03

My dear friends,

Have you ever wonder (from the perspective of bazi) why I was being invited by the Singapore Organizing Committee of APEC to provide Destiny Analysis on the day of 14 Nov 2009?

Just a simple clue & gentle reminder, you need to consider my Day Pillar (i.e. 丁丑) and the bazi chart of the day itself (i.e. 14 Nov 2009).

Want to make a guess ;-)

Kinship & Relationship with Family Members
(Part 03)

I have listed the full representation of 10 deities to different family members. It is normally referred to as the 'star' ().

Other than the star, the other equally important aspect that we need to consider or evaluate is the status of 'Palaces' (). Technically, in Chinese, the term is referred to as 星宫同参 (read & pronounce as Xing Gong Tong Can in Chinese), meaning we have to consider (or take reference) both the Star & the Palace.

Below are the Four Pillars & Family Relationships

Year Pillar Palace of Grandparents / Parents (祖父母宫/父母宫)

Month Pillar Palace of Parents / Siblings (父母宫/兄弟宫)

Day Pillar Palace of Spouse (夫妻宫)

Hour Pillar Palace of Children (子息宫)

In the coming postings (on the subject of Kinship), I shall elaborate further details on how to integrate both the star & the palace.

Times flies ....

APEC Singapore 2009 & Life Analysis

APEC Singapore 2009 & Life Analysis

2009 marks Singapore’s turn as host of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (or APEC), the intergovernmental grouping that seeks to facilitate economic growth, cooperation, trade and investment in the Asia-Pacific region.

I have the honoured to be invited by the Organizing Committee to provide Bazi Analysis to the renowned politicians and delegates from countries such as Canada, USA, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Australia, etc.

The response was overwhelming and the requests from the distinguished guests to have destiny read have to put a stop due to the time constraints.

Today, I would like to share with you on one of the interesting charts that I have read. From the ways peoples surrounded him showed their utmost respects to him, I believed he must be a person holding certain respectable position.

Male Chart :-

丙 丙 丙
子 卯 申 戌

The conversation was great & open. And, towards the end, h
e acknowledged (faithfully) to my analysis and promised he would observe my advice. The reason is simply that he deemed it to be extremely constructive.
.
But, just before the end of our conversation, he asked me a question : Do you think I am happy?

How would you answer?

Bazi Daily - 16/11/2009

天干比劫为忌时,表示同事、朋友关系不好。地支比劫为忌时,表示兄弟不和。

Literal Translation & Interpretation:-

We know that Amiable & Competitive Deity (比肩、劫财) can be used to represent sibling, colleagues, school mates, course mates, cousin, associates, friends......

When it is favourable to DM, all the above mentioned personnel can be helpful to the DM. However, when it is unfavourable to DM, the reverse is also true. In this situation, it can be deemed as competitors, scheming individuals.....

We may then ask, since there are so many different representations, how can we know (confidently & accurately) which individual it is referred to in term of, say, relationship with DM.

When the Amiable &/or Competitive Deity is unfavourable & is appeared in the Heavenly Stems, it connotes poor relationship. Since Heavenly Stem represents outer (as compared to Earthly branch that denotes inner), the parties involved in such situation could be individuals that is not part of the family members, such as friends, colleagues and the likes.

When the Amiable &/or Competitive Deity is unfavourable & is appeared in the Earthly Branches, it also connotes poor relationship. But, in this instance, it refers to family members (i.e. inner) such as sibling or cousin. It could also refers to close or intimate friends.

Once again, the concept of Yin & Yang applies

.... intimacy & remote

Foretelling Daily Activity
For the day of Metal

Guess what have happened to me (Ding Chou's day pillar) on 12/11/09 - the day of Xin You ([辛酉])?

Had been exchanging view points with some of the bazi enthusiasts (Sanjay & Fengshui 316) on the subject of predicting daily activity. Get really, really... excited & wanted to find out even more :-)

Erected the bazi chart for the day of 12 Nov '09 before I went to bed. Sensing the presence of strong unconventional wealth, I thought I might have the chance of meeting ex-girlfriend or, at least, to receive an email or a call from her (Oops..... hope that my wife doesn't mind).

But the relationship had already gone with the wind.... long ago......

For my own learning purpose, I have made a brief review. Below is the brief descriptions of the activities that had taken place and an attempt to ascertain to see is there any linkage(s) with the theory of bazi :-

Bazi for the day of 12/11/09 My Day Pillar

X 乙 己
X 酉 亥 丑

1. Went to my mother's house who happens to live in the western part of Singapore.

The answer is obviously due the presence of strong metal energy that attracted me to the west.

Month branch Yi wood is my Secondary Resource Deity (偏印). There are a few interesting observations & interpretations :-

- Secondary Resource Deity can be used to represent my 'not so-close' house as I have shifted out the house after my marriage ;

- Yi wood is sitting (or floating) above the strong water. And there is a saying : Wood floats with strong current / water (水多木漂). Since Yi (the Resource Deity) is floating and is likely to move from place to place... We can confidently make the assumption that things or matters associated with Resource Deity will move, float, relocate,....

The fact is that my mother (i.e. resource deity = mother) is going to shift (or relocate) her existing house (i.e. resource deity = house). That is the reason I visited her & her house. The house that I had stayed for at least 20 years before my marriage. I went over there to 're-collect' all my sweet memories (resource deity = thinking process, memories).

2. Visited the National University of Singapore (NUS) where I had spent a number of years there for the pursuance for my first degree.

NUS is situated just a few bus stops from my mother's house. That is to say, it is also located in the Western part of Singapore where it is dominated by the energy of metal.

Of course, we can also view it from the perspective of Compound Stars (神煞). You metal is my Academic Star (文昌) & is being combined with my day branch Chou (丑).

3. Attended my best friend's father Wake.

Chinese do believe that persons passed away will have their final home at the West (metal). Coincidentally, according to my best friend, the cause of his father death was due to the complication in his liver & stroke as a result. It is related to wood and being choked by the metal.

(Note : The activities or the places that I have visited were all unplanned for)
