Decoding the relationship between the DM and the Parents
Generally speaking, the relationship between the kids & the parents can be described as good, poor or neutral.
Today, I am going to share with you on how to decode this different layer of relationships.
Since the main concern now is on decoding the relationship with the parents, we have to FOCUS our analysis on the favorability of the Resources Deity (representing mother) or Wealth Deity (representing father).
Below serve as a quick guide for your analysis:-
If the deity concerned is favorable = the relationship is good
If the deity concerned is unfavorable = the relationship is poor
If the deity concerned is neutral = the relationship is neutral
For instance, the Resources Deity is most needed when the DM is weak. Hence, we can conclude that the relationship with the mother is close & good.
X 甲 癸 X
Food for thoughts:-
Below is also an instance whereby the Resource Deity is favorable to DM. However, the position of Yin Water (i.e. the Resources Deity) is located elsewhere:-
X 甲 X X
X X X 癸
Can you detect any differences in term of the relationship?

Hi Goh,
I am a strong Ji DM, and beside me (month) HS is Gui. It suppose to be my favor element. too bad, my relationship with him is not good, in fact is and very very bad.

Master Goh,
Would it be correct to say that the DM in the later case is brought up and educated by the DM's grandparents? And hence the DM might be closer to them?
Master Goh,
With Gui positioned in the grandparents palace, the DM would be closer to grandparents ?
If both Resource and Wealth deities are not in the natal chart, how is the relationship going to be..?

Yes, it is logical & acceptable to conclude that the relationship is closer to the grandparents.
On the same note, we can also conclude that the relationship with the mother is closer in illustration ONE as compared to illustration TWO.
So, the next question would be : what if the deity in question does not appear in the natal chart?
When the DM is weak, Resources Deity is, without doubt, the favorable element.
Even if the Resources Deity does not appear in the natal chart, we can't deny the fact that Resources Deity is still favorable to DM.
It is just that the love (that is needed) is not available readily.
What if it appears in the havenly stem of the hour pillar? How should we interpret it?
As mentioned before, different pillars represents different palaces and, hence, different family members. Since, hour pillar represents career palace, we can expect to have received good support from the boss.
