Literal Translation:-
Can we tell from bazi chart whether a person is born pretty or handsome? The answer is affirmative.
One of the configurations that I can think of is where the metal (especially Xin metal) is being polished by the crystal clear water (i.e. no earth to pollute the clarity of water & metal). It is just like the shining of the jewelry, full of elegance.

Can this Xin metal be anywhere in the chart, or does it have to be the DM? Perhaps some Ding fire would help as well to make this Xin metal effective in life?
What about Yi? Can this element also connote beauty?
Perhaps I should put it this way, beauty (and handsome) does not automatically refer to DM with Xin metal. Each of the Heavenly Stem representing the DM can be a pretty or handsome individual. It is just that the percentage is higher with Xin (metal) & water as a combination and does not get polluted by the earth.
It need not have to be Xin DM. It could also be the water DM with clean metal (i.e. no earth to pollute it).
