Foretelling Daily Activity
I did mentioned in one of my postings (please refer to Bazi Daily - 13/11/2009) that my mother is going to shift her house.
Below is the bazi chart that I have erected for the day of 25 Nov 2009 (Wednesday) whereby I visited her.

未 戌 亥 丑
Though, like all of you, I am a true lover of Chinese Metaphysics, I don't normally erect bazi chart for my daily activities as it would be very troublesome and 'restrictive'.
The reason for me to erect the chart was that I couldn't get in touch with my mother where she is (old house or new house) as the home phone has already been cancelled.
The purpose of erecting the above chart is to try to 'predict' where my mother was. Can you tell where she was - at the old house or new house - from the chart?

Would you mind to share with us why you think that she was at old home :-)
BTW, I have to confess that I, myself, made the wrong deduction in this instance. It was only after the event that I realized my mistake.

The mistake that I made deepens my understanding :-)
I think that you highlighted in red Jia and Hai as a hint so
1. Jia (Yin) – Hai combines to form wood, or
2. Jia (Yin) – Hai forms destruction relation
Which one takes place? I do not know, may be you can write an article to explain this phenomena next?
But can the combination or destruction happen between Stem and Branch, the reading that I have had seems to suggest the interaction only happen between Stem vs. Stem and Branch vs. Branch. If so, then I am focusing on the wrong thing.
So, the next thing is focusing on stems and branches separately:
1. No interaction on stem, the Jia Ji combination and Xin Yi clash do not happen between they are separated.
2. There are interaction on branches: Chou Wei Xu = punishment or Chou Wei = clash.
According to you book no 1: “This conflict is direct, sudden and obvious, which shall be reflected as short-term auspicious or inauspicious events. Whereas, a Punishing clash refers to the emergence of auspicious or inauspicious events as a result of dormant factors over a long period of time, which will likely to entail the emotions of the heart or the subconscious mind.” So, it is Chou Wei clash we should focus on.
Now, I read somewhere (too many where, I cant remember clearly now where!), that earth clash can mean moving. So, the conclusion is that she was already in her new home at that time.

I'll give it a try.
Jia direct resource sitting on Xu earth --- she has moved and settled in new home.
Jia is next to Yi indirect resource --- was she in the company of a close friend or relative?

I think your mother was still at the old house (where you were raised) on Nov. 25, 2009. Here is my reasoning:
Your DM is Ding Chou. Jia is your Primary (Direct)Resource, which also represents your mother. Xu has Ding as a minor Qi -- this palace also represents your home. Therefore, on Nov. 25 your mom was in the home where you grew up -- i.e. your old home.

Here is my second attempt.
On Nov. 25, a Jia (Primary Resource) day, you (Ding) set out to meet your mom. She was located to your East (Jia).
Another observation: In this month of Yi Hai (Yi - Secondary Resource, Hai - traveling star), your mom (Resource Deities) has had to travel (or move) quite a bit.

My third attempt:
House provides shelter, so it acts as a resource. Primary resource (Jia) can also be considered to be your old home (where you were raised) and seconday resource can be treated as your new home. Primary resource also represents your mom.
On Nov. 25, a Jia day, your mom was in your old home.
