We have touched on the subject of Flow of Qi for both scenarios.  Now, we shall examine on the impact of the flow on the Wealth Element.


Strong Output   =>  Weak Wealth ElementImplication is that the person has a lot of ideas, but the OBJECTIVE is not clear & concrete.

02) Coming to indirect output Luck Pillar for the above person (with above bazi configuration)

Since the energy flow is unsmooth in the natal chart, the addition of Indirect Output blocks the flow even more :)

Implication may be that can generate a lot of unique ideas, but no action! 

If that is the case, there is a need to constantly remind oneself on 'the importance of put plan into action'.

The Impact of Wealth Deity For a Strong DM


01) With strong Resources, Strong output, and weak wealth element.

Based on the above descriptions, there are TWO (2) possible scenarios :-


Scenario ONE (1)  =  Strong DM

Scenario TWO (2) = Weak DM


In both the scenarios, the DM is quick witted & can be very expressive & talented (output - especially Explicit Talent Deity).   However, he/she can also be very temperamental & mood swing like roller coaster (strong output).

However, with the presence of strong resources (in the chart) simultaneously, the DM can also be a thinker and may, ended up, take no action at all.    The reason for no-action is simply of the Strong Self - Esteem that make him to be more risk aversion.   He/she can't afford to lose :(

You may, then, ask "what is the different between Scenario ONE & TWO"? 

Bazi, or Feng shui, is about flow of energy or vital forces or Qi (whatever names or terms that you may want to assign).

To be more specific, the SMOOTH FLOW of Qi.

In the First Scenario where there is a presence of Strong Resource, Strong DM & Strong Output, the flow of Qi is smooth. 



In contrast, in Scenario 2, the Qi flows in this manner :-
   
Strong Resource =>  Weak DM => Strong Output
 

It is unsmooth at all.   Hence, the person is even more temperamental as compared to Scenario 1.

Date Selection for Birth

I have received some comments pertaining to the above subject.  But not the information that I was looking for :)

First of all, the question that comes to my mind is to check with the parents on Gender of the baby. 

Secondly, I will request the bazi of the mother.   Not forgetting that it is also the day whereby the mother having operation.

Then, I will start to erect the Bazi Chart (with Year & Month Pillars). 

From there, I shall start my analysis and look for suitable 'Day Stem'.

Before we jump straigth to the selection of suitable Day Stem, it would be good to first analyze the above limited informaton.

Just received a call from student.  He asked me to choose an auspicious birth date for his baby due to some medical reasons. 

Personally, I do believe in natural birth.  But after knowing some of the date(s) he had choosen (together with his close friend), I reluctantly gave him some guidelines and my preferred date for such purpose.  


More often than not, we (equipped with knowledge of bazi) frequently asked to give advice on such event.  It was shocking that most of us do not even know what to look for or what to consider when being approached by friends or relatives.


BEAR in mind that we (the person that so-called 'created' the bazi for the new life) owed a duty of care or responsibility to the person whereby we provided the advice (irregard whether or not we receive any form of remuneration).

For the next couple of days, depends on the response (ie participation rate for discussion), I am going to share with you on the step-to-step guidelines on selecting the 'suitable' date of birth. 

Please take note that I used the word 'suitable', not ideal.   Because, there are a lot of limitations when choosing a date for such occasion. The month & year pillars are fixed, isn't it?

The expected date of operation can be anytimes inbetween = mid-March 2011 to end of March 2011.

The above requires good understanding of some of the technical jargons in your fundamental studies:-

建禄 (read as Jian Lu)
 = refers to ‘The Star of Prospects’. It is the Entry phase in the 12 Natural Stages of Life. You may wish to refer to page 192 of my book.


提月 (read as Ti Yue)

= refers to the Month Branch.


财官 (read as Cai Guan)

= refers to the Wealth & Authority Deities.


财源 (read as Cai Yuan)

= refers to the Deity that give birth to Wealth Deity, ie Output Deity.



The above states that :-

In the event where the DM born in the month of Jian Lu, it is considered as strong. Any elements supporting the DM is considered as redundant.

If this is the case, what is really needed is the Wealth & Authority Deity to control & exhaust the strong energy of DM. Best still, both deities are to appear in the Heavenly Stem. In addition, it would be great to have Output Deity to further strengthen the Wealth Deity.

Case Study on 'C' Personality Type - Proper Authority

Do you know that there are approximately 52 thousands bazi configurations :)   It is extremely rare for us to have an opportunity to read the same set of bazi for different individuals. 

By chance, I got a chance to read the same set of bazi for 2 different individuals, except that one is female & the other is a male.

During our old school days, teachers appointed class monitor or monitress to assist in the running of the class.  Have you noticed that those who had been appointed are normally those that behaved appropriately during the class.   They are well behaved & able to set good examples.

Hence, in those days, those with Proper Authority Deity in the Year Pillar (of course, have to be favorable) have higher chances of being appointed as monitor & monitress.

However, with the emphasis on the creativity & the ability to be able to express well in our educational system, the above doctrine may not be applicable in modern society.

To-date, prediction had been made on the areas of health & economics.  Using the same set of bazi chart, we can even apply it to a larger & macro scales, such as international relations.

The chart is predominantly made up of Wood & Metal energy.  Wood represents East (i.e. China) & Metal represents West (i.e. USA).  

In the absence of Water energy, Metal conquers Wood directly.  You may ask : 'What pushes Metal to conquer Wood?'  It is none other than the Earth (i.e. Wealth). 

Yes, it is due to the Money Matters (Wealth Deities) that put both the super power countries into direct conflicts.  Hence, intense trade disputes can be expected for the year of Tiger.

If we were to examine the above bazi chart more closely, we should be able to tell that the Earth is extremely weak :-

~ direct attack from strong wood ; &
~ energy being exhausted by metal. 

If we were to take into consideration the impact of current year fengshui, whereby both the inauspicious stars (five yellow & two black ~ 五黄、二黑) are located at the South West & North East, respectively.  And, for your information, both sectors belong to Earth.

Weak Earth (bazi chart) + Inauspicious Energy at Earth Sectors (fengshui)

Hence, additional care need to be taken on the internal organs represented by Earth (i.e. Stomach & Digestive System).   This is especially so for :-

We have been discussing the same subject for the past few days.  

By now, we understand that there is a high risk involved in the face of opportunities.   However, despite the warning given, impulsion & temptation is strong to confuse & mislead us to the wrong decision.

Why is that so?

~ Greed (the presence of both Wealth Deities) ;
~ Impulsion & the temptation to take risky venture is high (the presence of Imposing Authority)
~ 'Die Hard' spirit & persistency (the presence strong Amiable & Competitive Deities)
~ Un-peaceful state of mind (the presence of a lot of clashes)

Last words of caution (in term of investment) :-

It is a misconception that 'High Risk will lead to High Return'.

After listening to the good news on the plentiful of opportunities lying ahead, I also gave my fore-warning to cautious you that :-

High Return involves High Risk!

This is particularly true for the year of Geng Yin (庚寅).

From the perspective of the theory of Bazi, High Risk arises as a result of :-

1.  Yin Wood (寅) controlling the Wu Earth (戊).

Though Yin Wood (寅) is the Growth Stage to Wu Earth (i.e. Conventional Wealth), it also the risk factor to Wu Earth as Yin Wood conquers Earth.

2.  With the presence of strong Wood energy (Mao & Yin Wood), the strong wood is going to dilute the limited pool of resources (i.e. wealth).

Hence, keen competitions can be expected from all over the places. 

My advice is to :

Do you home before making any risky venture.

Bazi Daily - 10/02/2010 Prediction for the year of Golden Tiger (Part 2)

As mentioned, there are a lot of clashes found in the chart erected based on the date of 'Beginning of Spring'.  We can, therefore, logically, associates it with fluctuations, challenges & instability.

Today, I am going to convey a piece of good news to you.   Behind the curtain of such instability, there are also plenty of opportunities for us to explore.

If you are familiar with the concept of 12 Natural Stages of Heavenly Stems (十二长生历程), you should be able to identify Yin wood (寅) is also the  Growth Stage (长生) to Wu Earth (i.e. Conventional Wealth Deity).  Hence, you may want to consider to focus your attention on the exploration of the opportunities from existing/traditional source of income first. 

Traditionally, we were being told that 'High Risk leads to High Return'.   But, being a business graduate, I want to cautious you that the reverse is also true, i.e. :-

According to the above theory, those with 'thick Earth' (i.e. a lot of Earth) in the natal chart are normally inflexible, slow in response & are not able to adapt to environment swifty.
 
Personally, instead of viewing it as Stupidity, I would deem it as stubborn, refusal to accept constructive advice.  Hence, they are not able react to external environment as promptly as other elements.
