Bazi Daily - 04/03/2010

吝啬命:财星入墓主聚财,孤寒吝啬。

Literal Translation & Interpretation :-

Thrifty is considered to be one of the virtues to Chinese.  But, the line between thrifty & a miser (or penny-pincher) can be undifferentiable.

From the perspective of the theory of Bazi, we can differentiate the thrifty from a miser easily :)

Thrifty Personality :-
~ where the Conventional Wealth is favorable.  They are practical & prudent in term of financial planning.

A Miser :-
~ where the Wealth Deity is trapped into the Wealth Pool (财库)

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery.
There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will,
and the solution comes to you and you don't know how or why.

Hi Master Goh,

My Wealth is Favorable, but i find myself spend money like burning paper. maybe it could be my limited wealth element (water) is sitting on 巳 "Si" fire which vapor the water faster than my output (Metal) can replenish.

Do you think the quality of wealth element play a major role? (e.g. where mine not so good)

Hi Master Goh,

What if the wealth deity is Earth?
Does it mean it is already trapped?

I discovered that more questions posted to the subject related to dollars & cents then the subject on health :)

WeiKee,

You have pointed out an important concept : the quality & the role of the wealth element does affect the level of wealth a person might enjoy.

I fully agreed with it!

ET,

I think an illustration explains better :-

X 丁 X X
丑 X X X

In the above-mentioned illustration, metal represents the wealth deity & is buried 'deep' inside (i.e. being trapped inside the earth) the Chou earth.

Guan Leong, GOH said...

8Zee,

No! Not forgetting that the Earth is the main energy.

To the contrary, there are 4 earth in Earthly Branches, which mean to say if the Earth (i.e. the Wealth Deity) is favorable, the DM have double the chances in attaining the wealth as compared to those where wealth deity is represented by other element :)

Of course, the life is a fair game. If it is unfavorable, the reverse holds true.

Hi Master Goh,

If the wealth deity sits on top of an earth branch whereby the another wealth deity is trapped in it, does that mean that the wealth deity sitting on top of the earth branch is trapped into the wealth pool?

eg X Bing Xin X
X X Chou X

Tee,

My 2 cents,

What you see on the HS maybe the obvious. E.G. people seeing you as rich or well to do. what inside is perhaps the one in your piggy bank and asset. I could think of one example the wealth trap in the "graveyard" is like you see the money but you can't use it. like court order to suspend DM bank account.

Master Goh, $$$ and cents is the subject of everyone :)

Tee,

No, in your illustration, the wealth deity appears in the HS. Shouldn't consider that as a trap into the earth :)

For a male's bazi chart, when the wealth deity is trap in the wealth pool,we can also say that this guy don't like to bring his wife go out with him .

This theory is taught to me by Master Goh few years ago,i wonder whether he still remember this...haha

Wealth deity =wife (For male chart)

weikee said...

and is also = father for male DM.

Guan Leong, GOH said...

TH Teo,

Good memory :)

But, that does not apply to the scenario cited by Tee, as the Wealth Deity is protruding :)

Hi Tee

I would like to try. Here is my interpretation of your eg
X Bing Xin X
X X Chou X

wealth deity Xin sitting on Chou with hidden Xin means your wealth is rooted in Chou.
When wealth deity Xin appears on heavenly stem means other people see that you are well to do whereas wealth deity Xin hidden in Chou means you have money in your pockets.

Having said that, it also depends on the quality of your wealth deity.

DM Bing born in the season of winter where fire is the weakest. This means that Xin though rooted in Chou is weak.

Hope above explained.

best regards
yen

Master Goh,

I'm confused here. Yen said that due to the Bing fire being born in winter, where fire is weakest, then xin rooted in chou is weak?

How does that work?

If say DM Bing Fire is born in the Season of Summer, where Bing Fire is prosperous, and his wealth is rooted in Si Hour pillar, where Geng Metal (Unconventional Wealth) is rooted, means wealth is strong?
Correct me if i'm wrong.

Guan Leong, GOH said...

Karen,

Perhaps Yen may want to clarify your statement :) Personally, I can't see the rationale behind.

As for your cited case, it is arguably. It is without doubt that Si fire is the Growth Stage to Geng Metal, but it also melt the Geng metal. Nevertheless, I would view it as a root to Geng metal. However, it would be a hard earn money :(

Hi Master Goh, Karen & Tee

Thousand apologies, thanks Karen for pointing out the error and Master for giving me the opportunity to correct it.

I wanted to say
DM Bing born in the season of winter where fire is the weakest and metal is weak too. There DM Bing is weak. This means that Xin though rooted in Chou is weak.

thank you
best regards
yen

Guan Leong, GOH said...

Yen,

It is without doubt that Bing fire is weak in the winter season. However, to conclude that the Xin metal is weak is not founded for at least 2 reasons :-

- Chou earth gives birth to Xin metal ;
- Chou is the Burial Stage to Xin metal (ie, the root to Xin metal)

Hi Master Goh

Yeah, totally agreed with you I should not conclude so early.

Just merely looking at the season of birth alone, Xin metal is weak.
When Chou earth gives birth to Xin metal, it will weaken itself.
Would be good to have support from resource deity Wood and authority deity Water to strengthen DM Bing.

If DM enters LP Wei earth that clashes with Chou earth, will the clash release Xin metal or Gui water?

Appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.

yen

Guan Leong, GOH said...

Yen,

Wood & Fire are good enough. Water may not be necessary in enhancing the energy of Bing fire.

As for outcome of the clashes between Chou & Wei, I have no idea which element would be released. As I have mentioned in my previous postings, a lot of books have mentioned about such a 'release' without explanation. Really, I have no idea.

However, I do believe that the energy of the water would be harmed due to such a clash.

Good Day Master Goh,

Frm the conversation below, you mentioned that it would be hard earned money as eventhought Geng Metal is in Si Hour Pillar is growth stage due to the fire melting the Geng, if say the person is to go through lucky pillars with water, earth, will that improve the wealth then?

Say if a pure water pillar Gui/Hai comes into force, will this cool down the chart and help the Bing DM gather wealth?
Your advise would be most appreaciative

Rgrds,

Leonard

Leonard,

You have input-ed too many variables that make it difficult for me to comment.

In any case, generically, if the DM is going thru' the favorable pillars that is supportive of wealth favorably to the DM, accumulation of wealth would be very much more easier :)
