Wouldn't the overwhelm of Resources making the DM strong (assume DM was week) in the Bazi. But how could this make the DM being overpower?
Your term of overwhelm refer to the Luck Pillar and Annual Pillar? or inside the bazi itself?

However, he does not diplay the negative characteristics as mentioned. Could there be other factors to consider before categorising the chart as 慈母多败儿? Thanks.

The overwhelming of Resources Deities can occur within the natal as well as from LP or AP.

This is (for sure) a chart with strong resources deity. If this is a weak Geng metal person, we could categorize it as 慈母多败儿.

BTW, too much resources will also cause the Wealth element to be weak. on a human point of view, a protective mother is trying to protect her son, but the DM wife is unhappy.

Of course, the hidden stem does help. His chart is more toward the weaker side.
Yes, it is one of the possible deductions whereby DM might have 'many' mothers, including the nanny.
