财印交伤
Mutual Destruction of Wealth and Resources

When making deductions from one’s eight characters, we can go about it by the strength of a day or special chart patterns, or analysing the arrangement and positions of the heavenly stems and earthly Branches.

X      DM       CW    RD

Where :  CW stands for Conventional Wealth (represents father)
RD stands for Resources Deity (represents mother)

Both the year and month pillar can represent the Palace of Parents, and the Deities of Resources and Wealth (parents) also coincidentally reside in the Palace of Parents.

Deities of Wealth (Father) and Deities of Resources (Mother) have mutually destructive relationships. As such we deduce that the DM’s parents had a poor relationship; in severe cases, divorce may result.

In actual fact, this DM’s parents have abominable relations and have divorced quite some time ago. Of course, the arrangement of the Deities of Resources and Wealth are insufficient to cause the divorce of the parents. Other destiny analysis factors would also come into play.

Master Goh,

To clarify, having RD and CW beside each other in these palaces leads to the suggestion of parent relationship probelms because of Heavenly Stem clash...but does the order matter? I would have guessed the opposite order would be more negative ((CW in year and RD in month)

I have this chart. and what you say is very true. Although they are not divorced, but they could have at any point. Strange thing is that this structure manifests in my brother's chart as well..
My chart:
Bing Ren Geng Bing
Wu Yin Yin Yin

Brother's chart:
Wu Jia Gui Wu
Wu Shen Hai Chen

Master Goh,

Just to share abit of myself, I got a Indirect Wealth (unconventional Wealth) on my Month HS, and a Primary Resources on my Year HS.

My parent relationship is not that good, and so am i with him.

Hmm...Mine is conventional wealth and primary resource is side by side but at the branches instead of at Stems. Yet, my parents seem to be fine. Still together and stick up to each other very well...

Master Goh,

Since Wealth can also mean Wife, if CW found in Spouse Palace and Resource found in Month Stem, will it mean horrible relationship between wife and mother?

Glad that most of us response positively to the deduction of the analysis of the mentra mentioned in this posting :)

Indeeed, when both the Resource Deity & Wealth Deity appeared simultaneously in the Year & Month HS (regardless of position), the 'POSSIBILITY' is high where their relationship may not be in good term :)

However, this is only one of the aspects to examine the marital relationship between our parents. Hence, Kikuchiyo pointed out the doubt based on personal bazi chart.

In general, it is true :)

On the other hand, when the similar clashes appeared in the EB, the sour marital relationship (or the parents) is not known to others.

It is good that Andy extended his understanding to examine the relationship between wife & mother :)

8zee,

I see your example as DM getting in a way as "referee" or "peacemaker" between fighting parents that because of DM, parents don't fight.......much.....What do you think, master Goh?

Guan Leong, GOH said...

Agreed with Kikuchiyo & really like the term 'referee' in this instance :)

By saying so, the conflicts can still be unpleasant. But, is not as serious when both the RD & Wealth is residing side by side :)

Thank you Kikuchiyo & Master Goh!

Yup, did noticed the DM in the above example, will sort of try to 'resolve' any conflict if it do happen.
