Bazi Daily - 05/03/2010

From today onwards, I shall be sharing with all of you some of the definitions pertaining to the terminologies of 10  deities.

What is “Primary Resources Mitigates Imposing Authority” (一仁化煞)?

The Chinese character 'Ren (仁)' refers to Primary Resources.

As we all know, Imposing Authority attacks / conquers the DM.  But, with the presence of Primary Resources, the chance for Imposing Authority to restrain the DM is removed when the former creates a mitigating factor in the form of Primary Resources.

Primary Resources can be said to have reconciled the strength of Imposing Authority’s attack, henceforth the saying “Primary Resources Mitigates Imposing Authority”.

The Ideal situation is where the Primary Resources is near to the DM. If the former is too distant from the latter, results are limited.

X       X       X        X

Illustration 2 :

X            庚     癸
X      X        X      X

Question :-

In the event where the Imposing Authority Deity (i.e. Geng metal) is unfavorable, which of the Resources Deity (illustrate 1 or 2) can better protecting the DM?

Below best describe the Concept of Yin & Yang.

ECCLESIASTES:

For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.

Hi Master Goh,
the answer is illustration (1) as the primary resource is nearer to DM.

What if the chart is
庚 甲 癸 X
X X X X
Can the Resource Deity still protect the DM?

Nelson

Master Goh

Does secondary resource also reconcile the strength of Proper Authority's attack on the DM - eg a Gui DM with Xin in month pillar and Wu in hour pillar? Tks

Nelson & ET,

Both of your postings pointed to the same question :)

Elementally, the energy of both the Resource Deities can serve to reconcile the direct attack from the Authority Deities.

It is just that different location may have different degree of mitigating the impact of Authority Deities.

In both of your illustration where the Authority Deity is located in the hour pillar, if it unfavorable, it still can mitigate the harmful impact, but is not as effective as pointed out in my illustration 1.

Hi Master Goh,

Should we also look at the active pillar when viewing the condition? If on your illustration 2, this person is <17 years old, the active pillar is in Year with more protection vs a DM >17 < 34, where this 2nd DM active pillar is in Month?

Hi Master Goh,

How many authorities can a single primary resource withstand before the DM suffers attack?

eg

Xin Jia Gui Geng
X X X Shen

Tee,

It is difficult and not recommended to base on numbers as to how many is considered a lot.

But, from the case that you have cited, the number of authorities is obviously too much for Gui to 'smoothen' the impact imposed by Authorities to the DM.

Master Goh,

This condition only true if we only look at the relationship between Authorities and Resources. If Talent element are present the game play will be difference right?
