When unfavourable, Competitive & Amiable Deities represent bad companion.  This, in turn, affects the results unfavourably.

According to the Author, the Father returns home around 9 pm to 12 midnight (that is the Hai & Zi Hour).  It is only then, he can spend time with the kid.   

As we all know, Proper Authority Deity represents kid (to a male).   Since the Hai & Zi are water (representing the returning hour and, hence, can be used to represent the father), the controlling element to the water is Earth (ie Authority Deity).  

Therefore, the DM of the kid is Earth.
   
True or not?   I have no comment, but it sounds theoretically logical.    


The moral of the story is that :  

We have to be more imaginative to improve our ability in reading bazi.  

One who asks a question is a fool for five minutes;
