If we come across another chart that also has this strong and unprocessed Shang Guan, what should we advise the person?
What is a good alternative to process the energy legitimately so that it won't end up as uncontrolled sex?
And it also seems Jack Neo's chart has prominent Resources Star, but sadly it wasn't enough to restrict the Shang Guan?
Would also like to add that the Authority Star in Jack's chart is totally isolated and without support, thus leading to the famous term:-
"Shang Guan Jian Guan, Wei Huo Bai Duan"
Strong Shang Guan completely overpowers Authority, therefore DM prone to do things which are anti-tradition which may lead to trouble.
Jack Neo used to make some movies that had some element of criticizing the government (Shang Guan Jian Guan mentality). Luckily for him, those activities did not lead to trouble... Maybe it is because it was before he entered the Ren Shen luck pillar which is heavy Shang Guan. Before this luck pillar, the Shang Guan was not too strong so as to overpower the resources stars in his chart?
I don't get it,
If he had implicit talent, and strong resource star, shouldn't it had control his shang guan already?

Jack Neo has no implicit talent in his chart, only Explicit Talent (the Ren Waters in Hai Day Branch and Year Branch). Unless you know his hour pillar?
Regarding the Resources, my guess is that it was fine until the Ren Shen Pillar came along, then the Resources (Earth) were exhausted by the Geng Metal in Shen and therefore had insufficient strength left to restrict the two Shang Guan inherent in the chart, plus the additional one that arrived in the luck pillar.

Below are some of my advise to those with strong & unprocessed Shang Guan :-
- do regular exercise,
- divert the attention to work,
- religion
As for your comment on the Resources Star not able to control or restrict the Shang Guan, I have (yet) another view to share with you : -
- the presence of Hai & Chou form a 'hidden' combination of strong water, i.e. : strong water.
Your comments & deductions of Jack's chart is clear and in the correct direction.

Below are some of my views :-
- a lot of combinations (hai-chou);
- Secondary Resources Deity = thinking or way of doing things that is different / deviate from the social norms. Hence, he likes to criticize government like nobody business.
- Shang Guan represents creativity & dare to challenge authority.
Wood (in Jack case) represents Wealth Deity (ie wife & girl friends). In his natal chart, the water is strong (hence, strong sexual drive & urge) that make the wood float. Hence, he girls will never be able to stay with him for too long. Will definitely 'float' away by the strong current.

Theoretically, I do believe that he has 'more than one' affairs for the following reasons :-
- this is an extremely cold chart, fire & wood is needed. Fire represents the warm & the love. And the wood (i.e. women) produces the warm that is needed by him.
- according to classical theory, chart with presence of metal & water is normally the person with strong sexual desire.
- the presence of combinations is another evidence to prove more than one affairs.

1) the directional combo between 2 hai and chou to form water is strong and exist since a young age
2) there is hidden combo between jia in hai and ji in chou to form earth (secondary resource)
3) Ren (strong water)hidden in hai now being revealed in LP Ren Shen.
a) Shen is in harm relationship with Hai, that triggers the event. Since Shen is his star of aid, so he receive assistance from higher ups.
b) Ren in LP combo with Ding in MP to form wood but need to wait for correct timing of supportive AP which came in the form of Geng Yin
4) Geng (his competitor) in Shen now revealed in AP (annual pillar) Geng Yin. Though Geng is weak still wants to make some noise. Yin came to combo and destroy hai to form wood. So the events unfold. Since Yin is his star of aid, wife came to his rescue.

FYI, I normally treat Shang Guan as individual with playful, or child like behaviours. It was no wonder Jack's wife (Irene Kng) mentioned that she treat Jack as a kid or son :)

Everyone of us do have sexual urge, it is just that some can control better (such as Proper Authority & Resources Deity) which some couldn't (such as Shang Guan...)

Is this the directional winter combination?
1) Does the "hidden" means there is a potential for the combinatiion to take place only when the zi appears in annual luck or 10-year luck? Or do you mean that based on the combination of hai and chou is sufficient to produce strong water ?
2) Must the 2 earthly branches - i.e. chou and hai be placed next to each other in the natal chart for the combination to take place?

Yes, according to the theory of combination, the presence of hai & chou is sufficient to produce strong water. Of course, the effective is even more obvious when both are next to eaach other.

No, Zi & Chou combines and becomes Earth. However, whether or not it will transform to Earth energy depends on the presence of Earth in the HS. There are some other considerations before we can conclude its transformation.
