When one door of happiness closes, another opens;
but often we look so long at the closed door that
we do not see the one which has been opened for us.

1) Does this theory apply only to the heavenly stems and NOT the earthly branches?

2) The following question is not related to today's topic :
Assuming Hour Stem, DM and Month Stem are Wu Gui and Xin respectively. Will the Wu combined with the Gui to produce Bing and the resultant Bing combines with the Xin to produce Ren? Also assume that the earthly branch month is a summer month.

MBox,

For your first question, it applies to both the HS as well as EB.

As for your 2nd question, you complicate it too much :) Based on your line of thoughts, a lot of possibilities can develop. And I can tell you, there is no end to it.

Just view & consider the combo between Wu & Gui is already good enough.

Once again : Simplicity is beauty!

Dear Master Goh,

Since Amiable Deity compete with the DM for the husband star(DO), who will triumph eventually? is it possible to read from the chart(looking at the DMpillar & year pillar(amiable deity).
or is it as gd as having no husband star since it has been snatched away.
Thank you for your guidance.

Miss K,

Of course, there are ways to ascertain the outcome :)

According to the ancient classic, the one (DM or Amiable Deity) that is stronger (in strength) will be the winner :)

Dear Master Goh,
thats interesting. so do we have to see which earthly branches(DM/OR Year Pillar) Best match with the month which is the husband star? Or,

what if the DM is a strong Day master? and the amiable deity has a strong rooted element in year pillar?

Thanks for your guidance.

Dear Master Goh,
For JIA Dm, her Direct officer star is XIN, am i right?
thanks.

Miss K,

Yes, Xin is the Direct Officer Deity to a Jia DM. (Note : Would like to advise you to remember the derivation of 10 deities. I can assure you that it is very useful).

If both the DM & Amiable Deity is strong, the triangular relationship would be entangled. Three parties would be 'tie' (i.e. combined) and suffered :(

Dear Master Goh,

is there a way to show that the ultimate winner might be the direct officer star instead? : (

Once again, thanks for yr guidance about the 10 deities(10 gods).

Miss K,

To possess 2 ladies simultaneously (i.e. having an affair) is already the winner to the husband :)

However, in any triangular romance, the outcome is normally far from desires. All the parties and their family members would suffer.
