Case Study on 'C' Personality Type - Proper Authority

Do you know that there are approximately 52 thousands bazi configurations :)   It is extremely rare for us to have an opportunity to read the same set of bazi for different individuals.

By chance, I got a chance to read the same set of bazi for 2 different individuals, except that one is female & the other is a male.

Below is the chart :-

        DM    PA       PA
X 癸 癸
X 辰 丑

where PA = Proper Authority Deity (正官)

Based on what I have shared on the characteristics of the 'C' Personality, you may want to apply it to the above chart.   Better still, give recommendation(s), if any, to the DM.

The DM seems weak as it has no support and no friends.

As such, Authority stars will place enormous stress on DM that the DM is hardly able to deal with.

In addition, there is a meeting of Explicit Talent vs PA, bringing even more stress and trouble.

DM will tend to be overworked and perfectionist, and yet sometimes given to unpredictable outbursts and rebellion.

Imposing Authority + Explicit Talent sitting in the branches adds a more dangerous and unpredictable dimension to the Law-Abiding PA personality that is in the Stems for all to see.

DM needs to cultivate self-control to be more accepting of things as they are and not demand for too much, lest he/she extinguishes the self.

Wood (Resource) is favored as it can
i. Boost DM
ii. Exhaust Authorities
iii. Restrict Talents

Therefore, cultivation and learning is vital.

Andy,

You are perfectly on the right track :)

Keep it up....

Master Goh,

The cyclical relationship between the five elements really gets more interesting the more we learn about it.

For example, Resources restricts Talent; this is very true in real life, as it is easily observable that cultured and learned people do not simply shoot their mouth off.

Talents boosts wealth; only by networking and 'selling' our stuff can we make money...

Wealth boosts Authority; I guess when people become rich and gather money, they will then want to 'conserve' their wealth, therefore will become more 'conservative' and cautious.

And so on with all the other inter-relations; all observable and logical in real life.

By the way Master Goh, how did you get 52k possible bazi charts?

I would have thought that 64 possible JiaZi for each pillar means there is total of 64x64x64x64 possible combinations? It comes up to 16,777,216! Or is it that if certain JiaZi appear, then it will necessarily exclude some other JiaZi from appearing in other pillars?

Andy,

Great! When we begin to appreciate & think about the beauty of cyclical relationship between 5 elements, that is considered as a great advancement in journey of learning.

As I have keep emphasizing the beauty of Simplicity, this is what I meant.

However, more often than not, learners tend to look for complex & so-called secret formula. The concepts of Yin-Yang, Five Elements is, fundamentally, essential.

With this firm understanding, it would be very much easy to branch out to other sciences such as Feng Shui.

As for the computation of possible combinations, I am using the following formula:-

12(Chinese hr) X 30(Days) X 12(Months) X 60(Years)

We can have 60 Jia Zi Cycle. And within each of the Year Pillar, we can only have 12 months.

Within the 12 months period, we can only of 30 (on average) days....

Hi Master Goh

I would like to try too. Here is my analysis

H D M Y
X 丙 癸 癸
X 辰 亥 丑

DM Bing fire born in the month of winter where fire is dead and water is strong. Therefore DM Bing fire is weak. Favourable elements are fire (friends) and wood (resource). Unfavourable element is water which is abundant in this chart.

1) MP 癸亥 YP 癸丑
the 2 Gui (also rooted in Hai) side by side indicates DM needs to communicate alot in his work. Since water is unfavourable, this may affects his relationships with his superiors/boss/parents
2) 亥 丑 half-direction combo
indicates DM travels and networking alot
3) 辰 丑 destructive relationship
travels and networking affects spousal relationship
4)YP 癸丑 looks like Proper Authority sitting on Explicit Talent ie Shang Guan meeting Zheng Guan
may indicates he has problems with his job
5) abundant of water also indicates that he is emotional, job also involve lots of thinking, he is intelligent and a perfectionist.

Possible solutions:
reduce speech and network activities
use different approach to connect
expand his circle of friends (he is lonely)
delegate his duties

Look forward to your comments. Thank you.

Oh yes, it should be 60 JiaZi, not 64.

But Master Goh, 12 x 30 x 12 x 60 = 259K; still don't get 52K?

Haha, I am confusing myself further...

For example, right now, 3.30 pm 1st April 2010 is:

Hour of BingShen
Day of XinSi
Month of JiMao
Year of GengYin

But when GengYin year visited us 60 years ago, on 3.30pm 1st April 1950;

Hour of BingShen,
Day of BingYin,
Month of JiMao,
Year of Geng Yin.

All remained the same, but the day pillar has changed...

Issit 3.30 pm will always be BingShen? It will never be GengShen or WuShen?

And in Early April, the month branch surely is JiMao? Is it impossible to get a month branch of, say, GuiMao or DingMao?

That means only the day and year is with full set of 60 possibilities?

So; 12 x 60 x 12 x 60 = 518,400?

Ok I think I will stop this guessing here before my head explode with all the numbers...Haha...

But I guess in the end, the real lesson still relate back to your message of SIMPLICITY.

Trying to memorize Hundreds of Thousands of combinations is quite impossible... I guess the essence and the energy flow of the chart is what really matters...

Andy,

Don't dwell too much on the numbers :)

BTW, I have omitted to multiply it by 2 (because the luck cycle flows in two different direction for different genders).

52k is the numbers generally agreed by the bazi community.

Yen,

I like your approach :) From description of bazi structure, to identifying fav / unfav elements, analysing individual or taking into consideration the relationship between different branches.

The best part is the solutions. To me, this is the ultimate objective of learning and mastering bazi ~ to be able to help others.

Pt 1 & 5 = they are perfectionist. But, the thing is that they do everything by themselves. Therefore, I do agree with you that he & she need to communicate & (more importantly) delegate.

Pt 2 = One (the male DM) involves travelling :) The other (the female DM) having an 'unsettled' mind. The mind can wander and can't really focus or concentrate on the job on hand.

Pt 4 = As the Zheng Guan (Proper Authority Deity) appears in the HS, hence, eventhough he & she may have disagreement with the bosses, they still follow the instruction full-heartedly.

The Explicit Talent meeting Zheng Guan in this instance reflected in their uncertainty in their working approach style. Example, they want freedom (on one hand) & still hope that the rules & roles is well defined.

By the way, they may not be loner as they are really hardworking & is a very co-operative staff. However, they are the odd one out in the workplace as they are very task oriented.
