Decoding Ancient Classic - 五言独步

建禄生提月,财官喜透天。
不宜身再旺,惟喜茂财源。

The above requires good understanding of some of the technical jargons in your fundamental studies:-

建禄 (read as Jian Lu)
= refers to ‘The Star of Prospects’. It is the Entry phase in the 12 Natural Stages of Life. You may wish to refer to page 192 of my book.

提月 (read as Ti Yue)

= refers to the Month Branch.

财官 (read as Cai Guan)

= refers to the Wealth & Authority Deities.

财源 (read as Cai Yuan)

= refers to the Deity that give birth to Wealth Deity, ie Output Deity.

The above states that :-

In the event where the DM born in the month of Jian Lu, it is considered as strong. Any elements supporting the DM is considered as redundant.

If this is the case, what is really needed is the Wealth & Authority Deity to control & exhaust the strong energy of DM. Best still, both deities are to appear in the Heavenly Stem. In addition, it would be great to have Output Deity to further strengthen the Wealth Deity.

Hi Master Goh,

a)Is it possible for a DM born in season to be a weak DM? i.e. supporting elements not in vicinity/minimum/does not exist?

b)Is it possible for a DM born not in season, but has supporting elements in necessary location and formation, to be classified as strong DM?

c)Can DM strength change according to the change in LPs? For example strong Jia DM undergoing Metal LPs.In this instance, do we have to suddenly brand it as weak DM?

LadyGaga,

The answer is affirmative to all of your questoins.

This is especially true when the Luck Cyce (together with the natal chart) form seasonal combination or trio-combination that can change the status altogether :(

Master Goh,

As a balancing act ,is it better for strong DMs to encounter “weaker stages” in 12 Natural Stages of Life ?

Master Goh,

Is there such a thing as DM element is very weak, but because resource is very strong, we consider DM strong?

Eagle8,

Theoretically, it is yes to your first question :)

As for the status (strong or weak) of DM due to very strong resource, think of the answer for the following question & you shall get a better insight into it :-

Water (resources) produces the Wood, right?

But, can the tiny plant grow strong & healthy if we were to constantly pouring water to it?

Definitely not! The plant (ie wood) would get rotten instead of growing steady and strong.

Personally, I would deem that the DM is weak despite the relentless support from the resource. Some masters hold different view from me. It is merely for your additional consideration & information :)

Good night!
