How do we determine what kind of happenings and challenges will come?
Geng Yin is Metal and Wood, can the relationship be viewed as a clash or metal making wood useful?

As the energy of wood is overly strong, metal is good for the chart. In your own word, metal makes wood useful.
However, it is in clashing relationship, fluctuation can be expected.

Will you be doing one by one for the 10 DM analysis to the Geng yin also :).. Maybe make it 20 (10 for strong DM, 10 for weak DM)
Do you also use the LP generated with this Geng Yin bazi?
I also notice the list of Clashes you pointed out are between Heaven Stem and Earthly Branch. Will this mean the fight between the hidden and the obvious. Like the Gangster vs Police.

Besides the fight between the hidden and the obvious, it could also be the fight between the lower (such as employees) & the upper (such aa superior & bosses).

In the following chart:
己 丁 壬 辛
酉 酉 辰 丑
Ding is born in the month of Chen．Ding is Weak (deterioration) in the month of Chen. It is surrounded by Ren and Ji, both of which weaken Ding. Ding is also not rooted.
From this analysis, it appears the DM is Weak.
However, Ren and Ding combine to form Yi Wood. This transformation is successful as Chen contains Yi, the seasonal Qi.
How much weight will this transformation carry in strengthening the DM?
In the final analysis, would you call this DM Moderately Weak, or Strong? Your feedback would be appreciated.

Yes! HS is at the top, representing employer. The reverse is also true.

I am sure that many of us may view the chart as a special chart category as there is no sign of fire & wood.
I would, however, still view it as a normal chart.
Personally, I don't think that the transformation would take place.
Reason:
~ Ren water is sitting directly above the water pool of Chen. It is impossible for Ren water to change it state to wood.
I would view it as an extremely weak Fire person.
