As the water is overflowing, it will help dissipate some of her energy. Hence recommendations for travel. Dispersed Ren turns to Gui in presence of sunlight. Therefore, if she travels often to a warmer locations it woudl help her.
Also, she could study metaphysics (Fire), and focus more on the big picture and less on details. She also also focus more on her career and self-inprovement. All these will help reduce her current emotional stress level.

Would a woman's womb be also not associated with the Water element?
It is possible that she could have a thin hair as the water is too strong for the hair (wood) to grow beautifully.

Agreed full-heartedly with both of you on the usage of both the fire & wood simultaneously as favorable elements.
However, my reasoning for not advising her to study metaphysics is due to the fact that she is over-sensitve (strong resources deity). So much so that she can be very suspicious. This is especially so where her husband wanted to divorce with her.
Learning such a skill may render her to be 'trapped' in trying to seek answer from such a mean. She would, sooner or later, suffer from depression.
To me, if I have chance to talk to her, I would advise her to take good care of the health as primary priority. Travel to southern area is, of course, one of the best remedies to relieve her from stress.

With the arrival of year 2008 Wu Zi, Wu hidden in Chen was revealed on the stem. Both LP and AP Zi competed to complete the 3 harmony combo with Chen DP and Shen MP to form water which was unfavourable to DM. That explained the lay-off.
With the arrival of year 2009 Ji Chou, Ji hidden in Chou was revealed on the stem. LP Jia combine with HP Ji to form earth. LP Zi combine with YP & AP Chou to form earth. Both were successful. HP You and AP Chou half combo to form metal which was successful, unfavourable to DM. Maybe that explained the intention to divorce.
Does Zi always create mischief in these two areas? When the painting done on Ren Chen above reflects the DM herself or her spouse or both?

Most likely she will remove it in year 2011 Xin Mao.
Oh, so we could visualise physical height or structure of person via day pillar as well as surrounding pillars.
How about physical outlook? thin hair, not particular about her appearance?

Of course, this is a genuine case.
It is possible that she could have a thin hair as the water is too strong for the hair (wood) to grow beautifully.

BTW, I like your imaginative mind in visualizing Chen (the water pool) as a container of water.
As for your recommendations to her is to study metaphysics (fire) so as to focus on self-improvement, I would think otherwise :(

Fire may not be suitable as there is too much water.
She needs to make use of her Output ie wood
She needs dry earth to block the overflowing of water together with wood.
She has hidden talent Yi wood, maybe teaching in kindergarten, writing her thoughts out and earth industries ie real estate agent.

As for query on the Ren Chen, I would think that it applied more to the DM. Afterall, the DM is the owner of the chart.
Yes, Zi water is indeed the main source of trouble. This is especially so in the LP of Gui Hai & Jia Zi.
With the presence of Zi, its form Hai-Zi-Chou Seasonal Combo as well as Shen-Zi-Chen strong water.
