Bazi Daily - 17/02/2010

正官为喜在年柱,小时读书能做班长。

Tip shared by TH Teo

Literal Translation & Interpretation :-

During our old school days, teachers appointed class monitor or monitress to assist in the running of the class.  Have you noticed that those who had been appointed are normally those that behaved appropriately during the class.   They are well behaved & able to set good examples.

Hence, in those days, those with Proper Authority Deity in the Year Pillar (of course, have to be favorable) have higher chances of being appointed as monitor & monitress.

However, with the emphasis on the creativity & the ability to be able to express well in our educational system, the above doctrine may not be applicable in modern society.

Instead, those with Talent Deities (creative & able to express) are more likely to be selected as monitor & monitress.

What do you think ?

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

I don't know what your destiny will be, but one thing I do know:
the only ones among you who will be really happy
are those who have sought and found how to serve.

Master Goh,

I suppose the PA star has to be in the year pillar as the year pillar represents childhood/schooldays.

However, i have always been a little confused about the year pillar.

Since it is the pillar that is most 'far' from the DM, what role does the year pillar usually play? Does it have any significance other than signifying childhood?

When do elements in the year pillar become prominent and have an important effect on the entire bazi, as opposed to only childhood?

Anyway, back to your observation, it is true that 'modern' education system might propel expressive kids to positions of power in class, but i personally think many of them will eventually resign the post as they will feel too hemmed in by the various duties...

Andy,

Do not be distracted by the 'distance' of the Year Pillar to the DM :)

If it is the favorable element & is well supported by the year branch, the impact is more than just representing the childhood.

View it holistically is my advice to you.
