Bazi Daily - 20/02/2010

杀重身轻、终身有损。
衰则变官为鬼,旺则化鬼为官。

摘自《继善篇》
Extracted from 'Ji Shan Pian'

Literal Translation & Interpretation:-

We tend to associate the Chinese character '杀' negatively with the terms such as killings, relentlessness.

There is a saying :-

When the energy of DM is weak, strong Imposing Authority (七杀) Deity would do great harm to DM for the entire life.

Ignorantly, most people (especially those with strong Imposing Authority Deity in their chart) feel discomfort & respond negatively with the term 'Imposing Authority'.   Hence, we prefer to have Proper Authority Deity (正官) in our chart than Improper Authority Deity (七杀).

In actual fact, there is no such thing as good or bad (auspicious or inauspicious) deity.   If the energy of certain deity becomes overly strong, even though it may bear 'softer & more acceptable' name (such as Proper Authority), it still causes fluctuation in luck.

Hence, when the DM is very weak, the detrimental effect of Proper Authority Deity is equally harmful.

However, when the DM is strong, Imposing Authority Deity represents great achievement.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Why not let people differ about their answers to the great mysteries of the Universe?
Let each seek one's own way to the highest, to one's own sense of supreme loyalty in life, one's ideal of life. Let each philosophy, each world-view bring forth its truth and beauty to a larger perspective, that people may grow in vision, stature and dedication.

Morning Master Goh,

It seem to me the Bazi term sometime uses big/heavy word, and it scare or make people happy :)

Just like Tian Yi Gui Ren, if this nobleman are not your favor element. Than it may not bring good help to the DM. but the name make it sound like it good to have it :)

Beanie,

Only one pillar is hard to picture, but if you want how about camp fire on a green grasses (assuming you have yi).

BTW, Ding Chou itself won't be good or bad, got to see the entire 8z

Beanie,

Agreed with WeiKee that we need to look at the entire chart before making any conclusion.

Of course, you can view it as a Candle in the mud. If you are having a strong fire chart, that mud (i.e. the Chou earth) would be very useful to you :)

If, however, the DM with Ding Chou Day Pillar born in the winter (i.e. a cold chart), Chou may be detrimental to the Fire as it is too close to exhaust the energy of weak Ding DM.

hi there Weikee and Master Goh,
thanks for the input. I just couldnt figure out whether the DM is weak or not too weak/not too strong kind.

Gui Ding Xin Wu
Mao Chou You Wu

Would the Yi in Mao be of use for Ding? Or only Jia is useful in this chart?
thanks again guys.

Beanie,

The DM is weak. But given that there is a support from Mao & Wu, it shouldn't be too weak.

Mao is definitely good for Ding fire.

At this junction, my advice is not to scrutinize into such details as whether Yi or Jia is better.

Beanie,

Just as a point of interest, World No. 1 Badminton Player ~ Lee Chong Wei ~ also has the Ding Chou Day Pillar...

My colleague also have ding chou for day pillar, and I hated her. But...there's nothing wrong with her bazi. It is my bazi that is sick, that's why i hate her.
