Bazi & Diet

Bazi is an effective tool not only in deciphering a person's behaviour &, hence, destiny. It can also be used in knowing an individual physical surrounding, health...... & even the eating habit.

Spoken to a lady recently after the seminar & she mentioned that she can't take 'pork' (FYI, she is a Chinese, not Muslim). She will either vomit or experiencing indigestion after taking the pork.

This excite me & arouse my interest in scrutinizing her bazi :-)

She is a Yin Earth person, born in the month of Wei (earth) & the hour of Mao (yin wood). To me, the answer is very clear......

I would like to invite you to furnish & share your view point & answer to the above question :-)

Hi Master Goh,

Is it the hai-mao-wei combination? But i can't see how this will make her 'reject' pork. Shouldn't this makes her love pork more...? since there's an intention to combine.

I think the 3 Combination of HAI- MAO- WEI forms a strong wood formation and attack the Yin Earth. That why when the HAI which is the Pork came in,she will feel like vomit.

Hope Master Goh can advise.

Lex & Fengshui 316,

Both of you are right :-)

Because of the combination, she really loves pork. However, what we like might not be beneficial to us. Hence, fengshui 316 correctly pointed out that the strong wood formation attack and weaken the earth (i.e. Yin Earth DM).

Since Earth represents stomach, digestive system and is being severely attacked by the strong wood, she will face ailment associated with it.

If she does not improve on her diet, next year would be more serious as Yin wood & Geng metal (annual luck cycle) would further weakening the Ji earth.

Hi Master Goh,

I am have difficulty classify this chart:

Bing Ji Bing Yi
Zi You Xu Mao

It does not appear to an aggressive chart pattern or domineering chart pattern as per your first book? What should it be?

Thanks,
Louis

Hi Master Goh,

This is very interesting...I wonder if it applies to all the other edible animals in the horoscope as well ....lol.

Louis,

You have already answer-ed the question posted by yourself.

It is a normal chart type!

It is good to know the chart type, BUT do it (in detail) at the later stage of your learning.

If not, we may hesitate in continuing to analyse the chart once we were being 'trapped' in determining the chart pattern.

Instead of placing your emphasis in determining the chart pattern, focus on the elements & deities. It would be more fulfilling & fruitful.

Cnyelie,

I have no idea as I have not encountered any cases that is related to other edible animals in the horoscope.

But, I do believe that we can apply the same set of principle to other edible animals as well;-) This is how we expand our learning & knowledge.

By saying so, I have to remind you that we have to consider the race & the religion of the DM.

If it is a Muslim, consuming pork is totally out of the scope.

Thanks Master Goh. As Earth is strong and day master has resources and roots, will it be a strong (moderate) day master in the above chart?

Why don't you tell us your point of view?

Hi,

Ji is born in Xu when Earth chi is strong. Ji is rooted in Xu. Ji is supported by Bing from hour and month pillars. Ji is natuarally moist. Ji has one competitive deity in Xu. Chi flow from Year Pillar to Hour Pillar is good. This makes Ji moderately strong. Chart is dry and hot. Water, Wood, and Metal are favorable elements. Wood loosens Earth. Fire and Earth are unfavorable. Too much earth will only bury metal. Water is needed to cool and moisten chart.

Another way to look at this is - Too much Bing dampens Ji and makes it dry. Hence it is weak. However, Ji is born in Zi hour when it is dark so it cannot be too weak. There is Gui in hour pillar.

A little confusing. Need help :)

Louis,

Excellent, I like your analysis in 1st paragraph :-)

You have correctly pointed out :-

- DM is moderately strong
- The chart is dry & hot
- metal is being buried by overly strong earth
- fire & earth are unfavorable to DM

Hence, you further mentioned that :-

- water is needed to cool & moisten the chart;
- wood to loosen the earth
- metal to exhaust the energy of the earth.

As for your 2nd paragraph, it is indeed confusing :-(

Would like you to bear in mind that the 'Month Branch' has greater impact over the hour pillar. Since Xu (the Month Branch) is the dry earth, take that as the critical influential factor. Don't confuse yourself by taking in too many variables.

Thanks Master Goh,

I think I am getting it. So, in this chart, the DM would then be modelrately weak? Correct?

Chou Si Mao Wu

Louis,

Personally, I do not encourage to place too much of our attention in determining the strength of the DM. This is especially important if you are the beginner.

Instead of saying that the DM is moderately weak, I would deem that it is a weak DM.
