Wow,I must test this observation as well. Secondary resource influences our thinking and makes us contemplative.
I have noticed people with strong secondary resources can also be spiritual. What if secondary resources are excessive and unfavorable? Does the person develop psychic abilities?

We can associate excessive & unfavourable Secondary Resources Deity with sensitivity. He or she can be extremely suspicious.
For this group of individual, psychic ability is already in their nature. Need not any further development :)

You mentioned that : 'Secondary resource seems to be viewed less favourably than primary resource'.
That is the general misconceptions that we hold.
Bear in mind that there is no particular deity that is more favorable (superior) or less favorable as compared to others. We have to consider its favorability.
Like Primary Resource Deity, Secondary Resource Deity represents the input (i.e. the thinking process).
When the resource deity is favorable to DM. We can confidently conclude that the chart with Secondary Resource Deity is more innovative & creative as compared with the person with Primary Resource Deity.
However, when the Secondary Resource deity is unfavorable and is abundant, the detrimental effect is more severe than the negative impact that the Primary Resource Deity can bring to DM.
So, first thing first, clear the above misconception before proceed further.
Next, why is that Secondary Resource Deity bring more harms to DM when it is unfavorable?
Since the SR Deity represents thinking process. The abundancy represents tendency to think too much and, therefore, be very sensitive and over suspicious.
If the energy of such SR Deity is being too much, he/she can be an extremist and can be very weird :(

BTW, do you know what is the meaning of 枭?
It is a kind of bird that can eat its own child.
Hence, in addition to the above implications, it can also imply poor relationship with child. Of course, it has to be unfavorable in the first place.

I came across a client with poor bazi configuration caused by abundancy of Secondary Resource Deity a number of years back.
Whenever she conceived, the doctor would definitely advised her to reduce movement & to lie on the bed.
However, despite following the medical advice, it was regretted to understand from her that she still miscarriaged for not only one, two, but 3 occasions.
By saying that I have to make myself clear that the above is only one of the various ways to investigate miscarriages.
Do not happily apply it to all the charts with abundant SR Deity.
The statement & advice made by us does affect the person seeking for help pyschologically & unknowingly.
Make good use of this knowledge in help others. Don't add on any unnecessary psychological burden to others.

It is understandable that unfavourable secondary resources resulting in eccentric behaviour could lead to difficulties in maintaining relationships. In this regard, the person may prefer solo activities.

Ex. The person lives near schools, temples, churches.
