Literal Translation & Interpretation:-
Month Pillar represents Sibling Palace. Hence, if the element is favorable to DM, we can conclude that the bonding between the sibling & the DM is strong.
However, if there is a clash to such favorable element in the month pillar, they may become enemies.
Personally, I don't think such a clash would lead to such a stage - becoming enemies :) It would, however, only affect their bonding unfavorably. Afterall, the faovrable element is residing within the Sibling Palace (i.e. Month Pillar).
Food for Thought :
Besides representing Sibling Palace, Month Pillar also represents Parent Palace. Does the same principle and concept still hold ?

Besides considering Palaces, we need to consider the stars as well.
If the, say, parents star appears in the month palace, then the chances that it is related to Parents is high.
