Deciphering Personality
- Bravery vs Aggressive vs Offensive

Below are the factors relating to bravery as well as aggressiveness (or even to the extend of offensiveness):-

1. 七杀 (Imposing Authority) ;
2. 劫财、羊刃 (Competitive Deity) ;
3. 伤官 (Explicit Talent) ; &
4. 比劫重 (strong DM)

You may, then, ask what is the line to differentiate the bravery from aggressivessness (as well as offensiveness).

The answer is simply the favorability of the above-stated deities.   The more of the above-stated deities appeared in the natal chart & is favorable to the DM, the DM is firm & determined, dare to make changes & challenge the status quo, ie bravery.

When the energy of the above-stated deities appeared to be strong & unfavorable, the individual can be very straigthforward & unreasonable, ie aggressive.

Couple with above conditions, if there is a presence of clashes within the pillars of the natal chart, the individual can be very offensive :(

Hi Master Goh,

The 3 "gods" can't be favor at the same time right? Competitive favor when the DM is weak. and Imposing and Explicit only favor when the DM is strong.

Yeap. So, if u're weak and have abundance of Imposing or Explicit deity, that is very bad. Though, I can't pinpoint how such a person would behave.
Master Goh, would u be able to help give an idea of what sort of characteristic would such condition give rise to?
1. Weak DM with strong Imposing Authority (protrude to Heaven)
2. Weak DM with strong Explicit Talent.
3. Weak DM with strong Imposing Authority & Explicit Talent.

WeiKee,

I did not mean that the 3 deities have to be together at the same times.

Perhaps, the statement is unclear :)

The guiding principle is that when the DM is strong, with the presence of Imposing Authority & Explicit Talent as favorable, the individual can be firm, determined & is dare to take up the challenges.

Lex,

1. Weak DM + Strong Imposing Authority (HS)

- Can be very direct, straight forward & blunt. He/she can be very authority and unreasonable.

2. Weak DM + Strong Explicit Talent

- Emotion roll like roller - coaster. Speech can be hurting.

3. Weak DM + Strong IA & ET

- Combination of both. Some ancient books even commented that this is the combination of potential 'Gangster'.

Without proper upbringing, it is highly possible. I have seen it myself :)
