The Star of Prospects is the Entry phase in the 12 Natural Stages of Life and doubles up as the Amiable Deity of the Ten Deities too.
Lu, means salary (Feng Lu 俸禄) and basic needs. People can only sustain their lives when they have revenue incomes. Although Lu may imply the aforesaid concept, it does not necessarily denote that the Star of Prospects is definitely a reinforcing or positive element.
Whether the Star of Prospects is favourable or not will depend on the strength or weakness of the day master.

my son is a very strong GENG day master and has SHEN in his month pillar with this star and also Yima (travelling star) Metal is unfavourable for him, what can be the implication of this ?

Anonymous, my 2 cents comment base on the information you gave, he maybe stubborn, lazy, and don't like to sit still... hehe sound like me. but if he have output element that is also a good things. That make him easy to expressed, and also very smart. On human aspect i believe with guidance any -ve can be +ve.

thanks for your answer, it sounds really like him, very stubborn, rebellious, agitated but very smart. We try to give him strong guidance but it is not easy.

In addition to proper guidance, try to : -
= change his diet (we are what we eat) ;
= encourage him to take up more exercise (to exhuast his excessive energy) ;
= redirect his attention to healthy activity such as being a social worker (if he is old enough). If not, these are the group of teenagers that may over engaged in computer games.
According to Rev Jing Kong (净空老法师), television & computer are 2 of the monster in currect society.
