In the event where the DM is weak, Resource Deity is needed to support (i.e. enhance the energy of) DM.
Who will give us the necessary 'support' that we need? Essentially, this include : mother, teacher, superior, noble man,.... the list can goes on.
In this respect, if the Resource Deity is favorable, we can expect to recieve help and assistance from those group of people.
The reverse is also true if there is no sign (or weak) of Resource Deity in the chart. If that is the case, never offend them.

What is the Resources Deity is favor, but is not present in the Bazi chart. Do this DM still received help from the "support list" you mention?

What if say, the DM is Very Strong Bing Fire with no resource in the bazi chart (no direct or indirect wood resources), does it matter?
I hear some teachers said wood resources is of no use to a Bing Fire DM as it is the Fire from the Sun, hence how can wood be of use to it?

Bazi concerns the issue of 'balancing'. If the DM is very strong, we do not need resources.
Though thru' the understanding of physical sun that we see everyday, we can have a better understanding of the concept of Bing fire. But, that doesn't mean that it is the actual 'sun' and hence, conveniently, assume that wood can be of no use to the sun.
Make it 'SIMPLE', wood produces fire.....
Don't complicate such a simple concept.
