As quoted by this Classical Text, the Strong Wood DM must couple with STRONG metal energy in order for he/she to excel in his/her career.
You may, then, ask why is that so?
To find the answer, you may want to ask yourself (in term of 10 Deities) what is metal related to Wood DM.

Hi Master Goh,
I learn from web and reading, clashing of storage (Chou, Chen, Wei, and Xu) will release the elements inside. If water is DM wealth, clashing of Chen X Xu will release water and become useful (if water is Useful God).

It was only stated here & there. It would be wonderful if we can start to collect, compile & analyze information pertaining to this :)

What if its a clash between fire and water?
Say if the DM is a strong Yang Fire clashing with a 10 year-luck pillar of water rat.
If say the branch is a Yang Fire Horse, therefore a rat water pillar clashing a Yang Fire horse branch...will it release the Yin Fire and Ji Earth ? to a Strong fire Ji Earth (representing Hurting Officer) is favorable to a strong fire no?

Again, as mentioned, I really have no idea which of the Hidden Heavenly Stems would be released as a result of clashes.
I don't wish to make any speculative guesses!

I think Cecilia was talking about Branches and not the Heavenly stems.
a clash is a clash, it will release what is hidden in the branches.
i don't think there is such a thing as which is to be released from the root branches. A clash will release all below it. Pure Logic
