When the Day Master in a chart is weak, it is undesirable to have an Imposing Authority Deity that appears in the Spouse Palace (i.e. Day Branch). The situation is getting even worst if there is a presence of Proprer Authority Deity in the chart.
This can be interpreted as being ‘bullied’ by the husband or home violence.

I don't think all weak female DM with mingling Proper and Imposing Authority will likely have bullying husbands.
For example :

Mao Zi Hai Wei
LP is Yi Mao
The above chart of a weak female DM with Proper and Improper Authority on month and day branch. However, she seemed to have a happy marriage and was loved by the husband. I believe it due to the Hai Mao Wei wood combination that weakened Authority and strengthened DM.
Anyway, I would have thought the Yi Mao luck pillar is a good one for this weak DM but unfortunately her husband passed away in Wu Zi year. To a certain extent this met the mingling Proper and Improper Authority status of unfulfilling marriage but are there any other stars in the chart that created this result ?

The chart you have erected is different from mine :(
If she was born on Mao hour of 8 Nov 1967, the month pillar should read as 'Geng Xu'.
It was only after 10.38 am (of the same day) that marked the commencement of Xin Hai month.
Hence, my chart would look like below :-

LP : (41~50) 乙卯
Husband passed away in the year of 戊子.
With the presence of Xu & Wei earth (as Dry Earth), this is a hot chart. Water, though, controls Bing DM, but is able to cool down the entire chart. This explains why she was deeply loved by her husband.
The presence of the strong dry earth controls the energy of the Zi water negatively.
Together with the annual LP of Ding Hai, it formed Hai-Mao-Wei and became strong wood. Strong Wood drained the Zi water seriously. I do believe that if the passed away of her husband was due to illnesses, Ding Hai was the year that showed strong signal.

You are correct. It was in the Ding Hai year where there was relapse of the illness which eventually took the husband’s life.
I did not realise that we have to watch out for the time during change in each month. Thank you for pointing that out.

I'm looking at the chart below. Though I'm not exactly sure how to view the spouse palace given there are 3 Wei (ji) and I consider this chart weak Gui DM. My first take is that the relationship is not smooth. Would the chart owner be bully by his wife or is it that the wife will stress him out?

Can you please share with us on your view why you think that the DM 'be bully by his wife'?

The DM is born in the month of Xin Wei, during the summer when its hot and with Ji in the yr stem, it is rooted therefore I view this chart as a Imposing Authority Deity chart. I consider this chart to be a weak Gui DM as the Earth in this case Ji which can mean pressure and Fire in this case Ding which represent Improper Wealth also wife since there are no Proper Wealth element in the chart are the strongest elements.
I think that the DM will be bullied by his wife because the Dm is weak and the Imposing Authority Deity does appear in the Spouse Palace. Though due to 2 resources on both sides of the DM, Geng and Xin and the Hr EB being Shen, I question whether the chart is a weak DM. In addition, the DM is in the Wood frame LP, and Ding Mao LP, wood gives birth to fire so my conclusion is that the DM is weak. As such the conditions you noted in your posting applies.

However, in future, please take note of the way you present the bazi chart.
You represented it in the sequence of Year, Month, Day & hour(i.e. from left to right):

The above is not the conventional way of presenting it. It should read as follow:-
Hour Day Month Year
Geng Gui Xin Ji
Shen Wei Wei Wei
That is the reason why I questioned you on your initial conclusion. I thought that Xin was the DM :(

This female Jia DM has GuanSha in every pillar. Does that mean GuanSha are unfavourable to her and her marriage will fail?

Despite the presence of Strong Water, I would still conclude it as a Weak DM.
Weak Wood would float with the strong current (ie water), she is a thinker that can get worry easily and unnecessarily.
In view of the above, Metal would be unfavorable.
