I read both of your books and I must say that I learnt a lot from by reading them.
However, in one of the books you did mention about a case studies that still leave me puzzled.
It was about a just divorced lady came to see you with his boyfriend (a married person). In that case you mentioned this lady divorced the husband for this guy and was hopeful for the relationship to work.
Master, you did ask, how from the chart we know that both of them met from workplace. Until now, I still could not get the answer. Can master enlighten me how can we tell from the chart whether our partner is from workplace or outside of workplace?

I expected Explicit talent overwhelming Authority only when talent is very strong and Authority very weak or in non existence. Can you advise what is wrong with the following chart as she has no relationship luck at all.

Although Explicit is strong and Authority star is quite weak, it is still available, being stored in Chou and there is a main qi in shen in the year pillar. Further, luck pillar is a clear and strong Authority star in stem and branch. However, this female DM has no relationship luck throughout her life so far despite holding a relatively good job with good earning. I can still understand if she has problem relationships but not having any at all does not seemed right. The only other thing possible I can think of is competitive deity fighting with her for potential partners. Or could the Harm between Wu and Chou in the natal chart be so strong it can cause no luck in relationship at all?

At times, it is really unexplainable on what is seemingly clear in a given set of bazi, like the case cited by you :)
If I were to do a reverse engineering of analysing it. I would attribute it to personal choice made by this lady.
This is a cold natal chart and is also going thru' a cold luck cycle.
Fire (i.e. Talent Deities) & Wood is favorable to such a cold chart. I do observe that both the favorable elements (wood & fire) are gathered in the hour pillar (which represent Career Palace). I, therefore, believe that she is rather career minded than investing time and efforts in her romance.
This is also further supported by the fact that Talent Deity (Wu fire) sitting inside the Spouse Palace. According to the classical theory, Talent Deity that sits in the Spouse Palace have the implication that the DM does not readily want to have an relationship.
As for the Yi wood competing for Spouse Star (as mentioned by you) is also one of the possibilities.

Human effort is so important and can change what’s in the chart.
Can I also assume the following . The Jia DM is strong as she was born in winter. Yi wood is quite strong as it is rooted and penetrates stem and I see it is unfavourable to a strong DM and therefore the assessment that the Competitive Deity is fighting instead of supporting the DM in relation to the spouse element. However, wood supports fire and which is needed by the cold chart hence the DM likes wood as well ie the career since wood is in the career palace.
