The above states that when both the Wealth Deity & Proper Authority Deity appears in the chart simultaneously, one is able to enjoy the fame, status and reputation (声价) globally or internationally (远驰于六国)
There is a missing piece of important information from the above mantra :-
- the DM must be strong enough to control the Wealth Deity as well as to withstand the conquering energy from Proper Authority Deity.
I came across a bazi with such a good configuration in one of my bazi consultations with a Japanese official during the World Bank / IMF International Conference.

According to the 5 elements, different types of day masters will have different types of PA.
Is there any inference we can make from this? For example, PA for 甲 being more showier because 辛 is like jewellery or 壬 with PA 己 more reserved because earth energy is more inward.

As for the Ren & Ji Earth, more consideration is needed. It is without doubt that Ji earth is more reserved, what if the energy of Ren DM is strong, it would show otherwise :)

Since the Wealth Deity is secondary energy & is hidden inside the earthly branch, he/she would still be able to gain reputation & status when the PA is favorable. However, the monetary rewards may not be equilibrium with the status and recognition attained.

I would like your comment on my reading of this bazi:
Geng Ding Gui Ren
Xu You Chou Shen
I'm not sure whether to classify this as an Imposing Authority Chart (Gui in Mth Pillar matching its residual energy)OR as a Wealth Submissive Chart (Ding is very weak since it clashes with Gui, plus there's plenty of Metal combos - Xu, You, Chou and Shen, You, Xu and presence of Geng in Hour Pillar).
I'm more for the Wealth Submissive Chart tendency.

Interesting chart; seems like everything is conspiring to put out the poor little candle light...
Anyway, just my two cents worth:
I would think that a 'follow' chart needs to have an overwhelming force of a certain element. In this case, although wealth is strong, but Authority and Talents are no joke either... So I am not sure if it can be a follow-wealth chart, especially since the influential month branch is not Wealth.
Talents feed Wealth, Wealth feeds Authority, and Authority comes back to hit DM. Seems like the exhausted and restricted DM can't do much unless the energies are harmonized.
For this purpose, resources may be good as it restricts talents, exhausts wealth, and diffuses authority...
But this is just my point of view. Let's wait for Master Goh's insights, especially since the question on special chart types is always tricky...

Personally, I would view it as special chart (i.e. Wealth Submissive Chart) for the following reasons : -
1. 申酉戌 combo & further supported by the 庚 metal in the Hour Stem.
2. 丑 is the metal pool & is combined with 酉.
3. There is no sign of fire & wood in the chart.
According to the nature of Yin & Yang, Yin has the tendency to become the follow-the-leader chart more easier than the Yang DM.

Now I'm trying to figure out how this chart would fare this year, given that there's strong Geng and Jia presence in the Metal Tiger Year. Since there's no resource element in the chart, would both Geng and Jia be beneficial then?
