Hi Master Goh, I think Amiable Deity and Competitive Deity can be detrimental to Spouse star for Male chart. And for Female chart, Implicit Talent and Explicit Talent are detrimental to her Spouse star. Thank you. Hong
First, the spouse star must be supported by its producing element. For example, your spouse star is fire, make sure there is nearby woods element to provide continuous fire to support it.
Secondly, it will be ideal if the spouse star is located below the day pillar itself. It will show harmony relationship between couple.
