Just want to share about mine personal experience,it is a long long post,but i felt compiled to write.. i hope Master Goh and readers dun mind : )
Money really comes and go. I admit i may be careless about mine finance eg,lending fren money.spend abit more ocassionally,and other things ,but this are the areas where you have a scope of control to a certain degree Somtimes..some things just happen and you dun have control over it. I could just get mine pay and then mine gf needs to pay her school fees... :( this sort of things diffcult to say no..
Knowing one's capacity and accepting is different,I used to hanker over alot of things.why mine friends are driving prosche while i have the same car as well though as a toy model in mine collection lol.Why he could have a blissful marriage wtih a nice partner. After quite sometime i encountered bazi,and alot of things can be seen or explained,i realised that prehaps it is really not meant to be and i should be happy with what i have. But knowing that i can not really be wealthy or rich makes me reluctant to date or enter in a serious relationship,its all in the mind actually,too much resource makes a worrisome man. So i am quite open on how much i earn..and future prospect to whoever i date,honesty is best.I cant be what i am not meant to be. I broke up with mine former ex due to frustration as well,a random argument usually starts like this...
Gf:U haven had a pay raise and promotion for some time...
me:i asked boss about it already..
gf:Then what he say?
me:No...not at this moment...
gf:Because u are not trying hard enough!!!!!!!
me:I tried very hard,but some guy got a raise instead of me..
Gf:!!! Why he got promoted and not you?? Dun be a weak man!!
Me:I got no wealth in mine eight pillars and now mine luck is not supportive how to get promoted!!???
gf:You and ur stupid luck theory again..
I think if i had not come across bazi i may be still as disgrunted as before. And from buddisim point of view.If i did not remebered wrongly..Luck does not exsist,karma does.The act of being conceived and being born on a particular date is also due to karma. With regard to acceptance,i view upon it as a degree,I admit that i still have greed and desire for wealth(i define as having more than i need to live) in me,but its presence had weaken over the years... Last time when i see a car i would differeniate...mercedes,bmw,all this nonsense ..and thought when i could get one mineself.. Now not anymore..a car is car,when i see a nice car,i will tell mineself i shall not hanker over what that i cant have.Whatever will come will come.
To sum it out.detachment towards wealth is one of the many effects the absence of wealth element can bring..
Again i apologise for this very long post ....I hope you guys dun mind : )........ regards kk

Fully agreed with Weikee! What is the objective of knowing our future through the study of bazi?
To get to know ourselves better. It is only then we can capitalize on our strengths and minimise our weaknesse.
Since, in the first place, we knew that we are easily lending money to friends, we can reduce it. Isn't it true?
Don't blame the bazi :( Within our means, we can do something to improve our destiny.

I was also bothered by it for quite sometimes. I am still figuring it out. Below are some of my understanding through illustrations.
Scenario 1 :
If the chart is extremely hot, water is, definitely, needed. In the event where water is absent, then the DM needs it desperate.
Scenario 2 :
If the chart is cold (say born in the month of Chou), even there is no sign of water, it is not urgently required :)
