We have learned that the Proper Authority Deity represents the husband,while the Imposing Authority Deity represents the boyfriend(s).

Just imagine what would happen if both the Proper Authority Deity & Imposing Authority Deity appear in the bazi chart simultaneously.  

Yes, you are right!   It implies probable relationship entanglement.   Hence, accordingly, the purity of authority deity in the chart is of critical important for a blissful marriage.

Before we go further, let me revise what we have learned so far.

To investigate the Marriages, we have to examine :-

- the strength of the Spouse Star ;
- the strength of the Opposing Stars
- the favorability of the Spouse Palace.

Above is the checklist that I use during my consultation.  You may want to take it as a reference.

Since Day Branch represents the Spouse Palace (夫妻宫), the favorability of the Day Branch represents whether the spouse is supporting or giving pressure to the Day Master.  

Hence, it is crucial to investigate its favorability.

We all knew that Day Stam represents the Individual (ie the owner of the chart).   It is naturally to make use of Day Branch to connote the Spouse.
