Commanding Star
(将星 ~ Jiang Xing)
Identifying Commanding Star
Determination: With Year Branch or Day Branch as focus, the respective appearances of any of the following earthly branches signify the Commanding Star
Yr or Day Branch Commanding Star
Yin/ Wu/ Xu Wu
Shen/ Zi/ Chen Zi
Hai/ Mao/ Wei Mao
Si/ You/ Chou You
A representation of clout and power, the Commanding Star suggests an authoritative presence and encompasses leadership qualities. Hence, people who have the Commanding Star in their eight characters are generally very imposing and stand out from the crowd.
When the arrangement of the eight characters is agreeable plus the day master is strong without any conflicts or clashes, this individual is said to be an able leader who will shine in the government sector and hold considerable power.
Since the Commanding Star is independent and self-determining, it may be deduced that the day master has thoughts of entrepreneurship should his yearly luck cycle encounter this formidable star.

Hi Master Goh,
If the Day Master is really strong and both the day and year pillar contains the Commanding Star, is this considered as bad?
Will there be any bloodshed involved and will the spouse of that person be injured?
Thank you.
Cnyelie
Cnyelie,
Rather than making comment of involvement of bloodshed (which may be too serious), I would refer to describe it as stubborn and unreasonable.
Master Goh,
Following up what cnyelie said....if the DM is very strong, with commanding stars on both the Day,month and year branches...this would indicate as stubborn and unreasonableness correct?
however, if say the DM was to meet good luck pillars (10 year luck pillars) which are favorable to the DM, what will be the case then for the DM?
Stella
Stella,
Based on what you have described, I would presume that the positive aspects of Commanding Star would amplify.
