Voyager Star
(驿马 ~ Yi Ma)
Determination: With Year Branch or Day Branch as focus, the respective appearances of any of the following earthly branches signify the Voyager Star
Yr or Day Branch Yi Ma
Yin/ Wu/ Xu Shen
Shen/ Zi/ Chen Yin
Hai/ Mao/ Wei Si
Si/ You/ Chou Hai
In the olden times, the principal mode of transportation to facilitate communication is the horse, hence the reasoning behind the Voyager Star.
Therefore, the Voyager Star conveys the ideas of travelling, working trips, overseas assignments, movement and shifting. As it connotes movement in general, the presence of the Voyager Star in the eight characters will portray an active and carefree individual who is well suited for mobile jobs.
By the same token, a person who has many Voyager Stars in his four pillars tends to be very unsettled and travels frequently.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances,
but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes.

Master Goh,
Thank you for sharing this knowledge. I am still researching is the Year branch really bring any major "Yi Ma" to me. So far this is my experience. (My Day is Si, Year is Chen)
- In Hai year, i do travel very extensive, and even my wife who's her Yi Ma (from day branch) also hai, and she travel a lot too.
- In Hai month, usually year end, i do travel much.
- This year, i feel stagnant, and did not travel much, well hard to say, still got 9 more months.
Regards,
Wei Kee
