Since Day Branch represents the Spouse Palace (夫妻宫), the favorability of the Day Branch represents whether the spouse is supporting or giving pressure to the Day Master.
Hence, it is crucial to investigate its favorability.

Do you mean if the Day Branch is a direct/indirect resource deity it will support the DM and if it is a Direct Officer/7 Killings deity it will give pressure to the DM?
What if the DM (male) is already very Strong, and also the Day Branch is the same element as the DM, that means it is giving pressure to the DM. But what if the 10 Year Luck Pillars are Favorable to the DM, does that mean the marriage is stable and harmonious?

MBox2
MBox2,
It is true according to the generative & controlling relationship.
However, if the DM is too strong, the controlling from Day Branch (ie Authority Deites) is considered to be desired.
I wouldn't consider that as pressure. Rather, it is a form of pushing or motivating forces.

Luke,
Based on your description, I would view that both the DM and his/her spouse are equally strong (or even stubborn) in term of characters.
Of course, if it is favorable Luck Cycle, the DM would be more stable and hence better marital relationship.
