Yin (寅), Shen (申), Si (巳) & Hai (亥) are also known as Travelling Horses (驿马). Hence, the more the number of horses in the natal chart, the more active would be the person.

Hi Master Goh,
I think this is an old question, the DM have its own set of Traveling horse. I read somewhere it say if the traveling horse not belong to DM are present in the DM bazi, LP or AP it may mean other people around the DM are moving. is that the case?
Thanks for sharing with us on what you have read pertaining to the Traveling Horse. I am first time knowing of this theory.
Though I have not heard of the theory before, but I do believe that this theory is valid.
Thanks once again! And this is the power of sharing.
Since different palace represents different family members. The Traveling Horse situated on certain palace can imply more movement for that particular family member.
Other than traveling, the term 'active' can also refer to physical activeness (i.e. have to move around constantly & can't sit still a place or a company for too long) & mental activeness (i.e. think actively).
Coincidentally all the animals also form a punishment. Any studies you would have on these type of charts that has both side by side and what type of effect it had on the DM? e.g Yin (Year) and Shen (Month), etc?
Hence, when both the destructive horses co-exist together & is situated side by side, the effect of changes & movement would be frequent & more evident.
Simply, one of the possible deductions might be that the relationship between parents (month pillar) & grandparent (year pillar) might not be good & is severely bad with the existence of clashing relationship.

Active as in traveling, I assume. Will the traveling with travel horses mean traveling overseas? or just within one's birth country?
Best,
Kikuchiyo

I will start to observe and compile the data :-)

Put it more simply : it connotes changes!

bg,
Traveling Horse = Movement & Changes ; &
Clashes = Changes
Hence, when both the destructive horses co-exist together & is situated side by side, the effect of changes & movement would be frequent & more evident.
