Hi,all!   Welcome back.  Today, I shall continue with the topic of Romance & Marriages.


官星坐沐俗、桃花、咸池；夫英俊，多情慾，风流，外遇，在外拈花惹草。


We have learned & know the concept of 12 Natural Life Cycle of Heavenly Stems (十二长生历程) and the various implications of Compound Stars (神杀).

Today, we shall make good use the above concepts in examining the marriages. 

According to the above text, should the Spouse Star sitting above the Bath & Flower of Romance, the Spouse may be good looking, with high sexual drive and flirtatous.  As such, he can be a womanizer and causes problematics marriages. 

What is your view on the above?

Due to my involvement of some of the projects & tour, I am not available to update the Bazi Daily during the aforesaid period of time.

This Blog shall resume on 1 November 2010.   I shall still continue with the subject of Marriages & Romance.

To me, one of the most effective ways of learning bazi is to dwell on a particular subject for a period of time.  

Meanwhile, I would like to urge all the bloggers to share your case(s) pertaining to the currect topic.

We can, perhaps, set up our own COMMON DATABASE for learning purpose.

According to above text,  if certain deities appears simultaneously in the chart or during the Luck Cycle, it means relationship entanglement or problematics marriages.  

What are those deities?   They are :-

- Proper Authority Deity ;
- Imposing Authority Deity ;
- Amible Deity ; and
- Competitive Deity.

It was stated in the previous posting that the combination that take place between the Spouse Star & another deity have the implication of separation.

What if the Spouse Star and/or palace is/are being clashed?

Yes, it could mean separation or disagreement between the DM and the Spouse.   It could, also, mean the Spouse may have suffered from illnesses.

How can we tell from the bazi chart that the Spouse would leave us & end the marital relationship ?

One of the tell-tale signs is that the Spouse Star is being combined away (合去) by the deity sitting beside it.

We have touched on the impact of absence, presence & favourability of the Spouse Star to the Day Master.

Weak in spouse star implies probable poor / weak marital relationship.   In the worst situation, it could also means poor health or the early death of the Spouse.

Besides the WEAK spouse energy that causes the above, the following theory also show the tell tale sign :-

- the Spouse Star is being attached by the Talent Deities.

When the Spouse Star is unfavorable, the negative impact would surface. 

In such an event, we can conclude that :-

- the husband is not able to provide 'security' to the Day Master ; 
- even worst, the husband may so-called bring 'BAD LUCK' to the Day Master.

In short, the Day Master cannot totally depends on her husband for livelihood.  This resulted in problematic marriages.

In the event the energy of the Spouse Star (Proper Authority Deity) is strong, it could mean that the husband is important to the Day Master.  Hence, she be being greatly influenced by the husband.  

The reason is simply that she love her husband.

For a female chart, it would be considered as undesirable to have the following deities reside in the Spouse Palace (i.e. Day Branch) where the Day Master is strong :-

- Primary Resource Deity

- Secondary Resource Deity

This would affect the marital relationship of the Day Master unfavorably.

本命元神衰弱，最忌日支坐七杀、再出现正官，表示易被夫所欺压，甚至家暴。


When the Day Master in a chart is weak, it is undesirable to have an Imposing Authority Deity that appears in the Spouse Palace (i.e. Day Branch). The situation is getting even worst if there is a presence of Proprer Authority Deity in the chart.

This can be interpreted as being ‘bullied’ by the husband or home violence.

The above statement states that :-

Vivid Presence of Implicit &/or Explicit Talent in a female's chart have the implication of unblissful marriages.   It may lead to divorce and remarry.  

Vivid Presence is the direct word-to-word translation to the Chinese characters - 明现.   It means one of the below :-

1.  The Implicit & Explicit Talent Deities appeared in the Heavenly Stems of a bazi chart ; 

2.  The Implicit & Explicit Talent Deities appeared as the Main Energy of the Earthly Branches ; &

3.  The Strength of the Implicit & Explicit Talent Deites is Strong, noticable to impact the entire chart. 

To be very frank, at times, ancient way of writing cannot be easily comprehend without going deep into it.

命局中官星皆不现，大运於四十岁之前，又未出官星。表异性缘差，不易交到男朋友。

The above statement states the parameters why the Day Master having difficulties in having a relationship or romance:- 
1.  there is no sign of Spouse Star in the natal bazi chart ; and

2.  the situation becomes even more severe when there is non appearance of Spouse Star during the young age Luck Cycle, say before age 40. 


This resulted in either ended up a late marriage or the relationship / romance may not last long.

The above describes the scenario (from the perspective of the Theory of Bazi) where the Day Master have difficulties in having romance or relationship.

The above is what we have talked about in my previous posting.  We can use the same set of principle (purity of spouse star) & apply it in the male charts.

Similarly, either an Unconventional Wealth Deity or a Conventional Wealth Deity that appear in the chart is good enough :)

More Wealth Deities = more problematic

We have learned that the Proper Authority Deity represents the husband,while the Imposing Authority Deity represents the boyfriend(s).

Just imagine what would happen if both the Proper Authority Deity & Imposing Authority Deity appear in the bazi chart simultaneously.  

Yes, you are right!   It implies probable relationship entanglement.   Hence, accordingly, the purity of authority deity in the chart is of critical important for a blissful marriage.

Before we go further, let me revise what we have learned so far.

To investigate the Marriages, we have to examine :-

- the strength of the Spouse Star ;
- the strength of the Opposing Stars
- the favorability of the Spouse Palace.

Above is the checklist that I use during my consultation.  You may want to take it as a reference.

Since Day Branch represents the Spouse Palace (夫妻宫), the favorability of the Day Branch represents whether the spouse is supporting or giving pressure to the Day Master.  

Hence, it is crucial to investigate its favorability.
