The Principle of Extremity

We mentioned the importance of maintaining BALANCE (ie the Principle of Moderation) in the study of Chinese Metaphysics.  However, in the event, where :-  

-  the DM is OVERLY STRONG ; or  
-  the DM is OVERLY WEAK ; or
-  the Chart is OVERLY COLD ; or
-  the Chart is OVERLY HOT,

We have to FOLLOW THE MAJORITY.

    Dear Master,

    I am confuse...what you mean follow the majority?

    Could you elaborate?

    Kathleen,

    If the DM is wood, but the chart is dominated mainly & totally by metal, the DM have to follow the metal.

    Which mean to say, the favorable element (in this example) is metal.
